• Analysis and performance test of incoming raw materials including base oils and additives. Sampling, inspection and testing of in-process and finished products and to ensure samples are tested as per the frequency and as per defined test methods and release of test reports on time.
• Preparation of Bill of Materials and issuance of blend sheets to blending team.
• Preparation of pilot blends, development/modification of formulations, as and when required for cost control and keeping of all QC and R&D works data.
• Supplier’s Audits conducted to evaluate Vendor performance
• Corrective actions issued for non-conforming products
• Responsible for overall blending operations.
• Daily, Weekly and monthly forecast report of base oil, additives and other chemicals required for blending operations.
• Corrective action for off specs batches.
• Timely calibration of pressure gauges, temperature gauges in blending unit.
• Data maintenance and communication of hazards and safety requirements of additives and chemicals to production department.
• Comply with QHSE Policy & Procedures, Laboratory safety specific rules & regulations.
Responsible for quality control of incoming raw material, finished products manufactured at the site.
• Batch entry and issuing batch slip, filling report and batch authorization in Oracle system.
• Preparation of formulation, costing sheet for new customers.
• Filling line survey to inspect proper filling, labeling, sealing, and printing, as per desired product specs.
• Suggest corrective action to blending department for off spec batches.
• Maintaining stock of Laboratory consumables, Calibration of Lab instruments on time and keeping them in top notch working condition.
• Development & review of procedures to meet new product requirements.
• Technical support to sales staff and customers.
• Preparation &/or modification of PDS, TDS, MSDS as per yearly revision.
• Liquidation of dead stock
• Customer complaints handling.
• ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 documentation
• Production Planning, Product manufacturing and batch processing in the company’s manufacturing divisions.
• Maintaining Raw Materials Stock Register.
• Quality Control work as per defined test methods of:
i. Heavy Duty Brake fluids (Type: DOT-3, DOT-4)
ii. Antifreeze Coolants
iii. Bitumen products
iv. Adhesives and Latex products
v. Sulfuric Acid (98%) & Battery Acid
vi. R.O water, DM Water
vii. Liquid detergent products
• Water analysis of: BBD, BFW, CT samples
• SO2 gas analysis and stack monitoring of Sulfuric acid plant.
• Quality Control as per standards of ASTM, IP, IS of:
i. Automotive lubricants (Engine oils, gear oils, ATF)
ii. Industrial lubricants
iii. Heavy Duty Brake fluids (Type: DOT-3, DOT-4)
iv. Greases
v. Antifreeze Coolant
vi. Glycols.
