Responsibilities:
Roles of Senior Set Top Box Engineer
• Experience at a SUPERMAX set top box manufacturer / a pay TV operator having deployed middleware based hybrid IP/SAT set top boxes.
• Experience in writing technical documentation such as test scripts and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of Satellite and IP TV standards and key technologies.
• Experience in software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.
• Exposure to and understanding of Internet protocols, TCP/IP
• Provide 3rd line support for the monitoring of SUPERMAX set top box, identification, fault diagnosis and resolution of software-related problems.
• Identify bugs and own resolution of the issue, tracking and escalating as appropriate.
Roles of Networking Engineer
• Installation, configuration and administration of Active Directory services in Windows server 2008.
• Windows 2003 and 2008 Server installation, configuration & administration.
• Handling system administration task like user account management, software installation, backup and hardware troubleshooting etc.
• Monitoring, managing and troubleshooting Outlook 2003, 2007 and 2007
• Installing all kind of Network printers and Scanners
• Managing Backup’s and User Profile Management
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting CCTV camera and DVR
• Making weekly report for GPS base navigations system (Tracker)
