EPCM basis of Shell Malaysia Trading for installation new Bio-diesel Facilities project with Project Management including the Construction of Palm Oil Methyl Easter (POME) Storage Tanks, POME Unloading Bay& Island, POME Injection pump shelter, Relocation of existing firefighting facilities, and associated piping, mechanical, civil, electrical & instrumentation works.

- Shell West Port Terminal Expansion Project
EPCM basis of Shell Malaysia Trading terminal expansion project with Project Management including the Construction of Storage Tanks, Hazardous & Non-Hazardous Warehouse, Installation of Marine Loading Arms, product & Inter transfer pumps and allied piping.

Responsibilities include:

 Inspection, Testing and Commissioning of Above Ground Storage Tanks with reference to API 650 and Client Specifications.
 Inspection, Testing and Commissioning of Jetty Piping with reference to ASME B 31.4 and Client Specifications.
 Inspection, Testing and Commissioning of Tank Farm and allied piping with reference to Client Specifications and ASME B 31.3.
 Marine Loading Arm installation inspection.
 Reviewing the Quality Control procedures/ work instruction, ITP with reference to the project specification, standards and drawings.
 Random Inspection of raw materials, bought out items and review of Material Test Certificates (MTC) and the specification requirements.
 Compliance with the QC functions in the workplace for daily QC activities and proactive approach in problem solving.
 Planning and Monitor Contractor inspection activities and reviews of Contractor QC performance.
 Ensuring that all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status.
 Ensuring all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken.
 Reviewing all inspection reports for compliance.
 Assisting the site Contractors in the resolution of drawing interpretation.
 Surveying the erection, construction and equipment for alignment and plumbness in accordance with drawings and specification.
 Witnessing of welder qualifications testing and procedures qualification testing.
 Reviewing of the WPS, PQR, WQT and Welding summary reports with reference to the Project drawings, Code and Standards.
 Reviewing the inspection and testing methods and NDT procedures.
 Review of the radiographic film and all NDT reports on a regular basis with reference to the Code and Standards.
 Advising the site contractors with regards to welding and testing.
 DFT Inspection of final coating with reference to the project specification, standards and drawings.
 Assisting the Project manager in the organization, maintenance and control of the quality system.
 Liase with the site construction engineers and provide assistance when requested.
 Preparing non-conformance reports to the Project manager and assist in developing corrective actions, resolving any discrepancies and uncertainty.
 Completing of QC site instructions, co-ordinate their closure and review of inspection test packages during the course of construction activities.
 System-walk down inspection and preparation of punch list prior to testing.
 Witnessing of hydro and pneumatic testing.
 Ensuring all necessary quality records are identified and retained in accordance with Owner and regulatory requirements.
 Reviewing the Final QC dossier for handing over to the Owner and maintain proper filling system (as per Organization procedure) with full traceability for retrieving the document.
 Compliance with the site’s health and safety regulations.
