Position Title (Level) : Sr. Quantity Surveyor governing work sections. Specialization : Post Contract Highway & Utility Relocation works. Role : Project Management Consultant assisting PWD. Industry : Highway construction with Utility Services Relocation Work Description : Contract Management. Reporting to Project Manager ✓ Govern the post contract management between Main Contractor / Client / Resident Engineers and Nominated Contractor. ✓ Chairing fortnightly contract department meeting with the project team. ✓ Review and Recommend the Monthly payment certification to Client to process for approval. ✓ Review & formalize Change Orders technical and commercial review in accordance to the Contract. ✓ Advising on the contractual impact of the project to Construction Manager, Client PM and Senior PM. ✓ Resolves Contractual issues with Main Contractor & Resident Engineer. ✓ Negotiate with Main Contractor on Variation Order and interpretation of the scope of work. ✓ Contract administration delegation between Client and other Stack holders. ✓ Reporting to HQ on contract & commercial dispute and other reports. ✓ Finalizing and reconciliation of final account with the Main Contractor. ✓ Review and advise EOT claim assessment with the Client planning team. ✓ Interpret the conditions of contract & SOP to the operation team. ✓ Drafting letter of project contractual and non-contractual related correspondence with Project Engineer & Construction Manager. ✓ Monitor and Advise project related matters on General & Preliminaries ✓ Attending Monthly progress / technical meeting with Contractor and consultant.
Position Title (Level) : Contracts Manager. Specialization : Post Contract Highway & Utility Works Role : Project Delivery Partner Behalf PWD-JKRS. Industry : Highway construction; Urban Development Work Description : Project Delivery Partner Reporting to Project Manager & Senior Group Contracts Manager in HQ ✓ Verification and submission of Main Contractor's IPC and follow up. ✓ Review & formalize Change Orders, and obtain management approval. ✓ Resolves Contractual issues with Main Contractor & Resident Engineer ✓ Liaise with Independent Consultant, Resident Engineer and Main Contractor. ✓ Negotiate with Main Contractor on Variation Order and interpretation of the Contract. ✓ Prepare cash flow and project budget monitoring. ✓ Delegate works with subordinates on daily basis or assignment. ✓ Reporting to HQ on contract & commercial issues and other reports. ✓ Finalizing and reconciliation of final account with the Main Contractor. ✓ EOT claim assessment with planning and commercial department. ✓ Interpret the conditions of contract & SOP to the operation team. ✓ Reply project related correspondence with PM's input. ✓ Recommending proposal for HQ approval. ✓ Advise project related matters on General & Preliminaries ✓ Attending Monthly progress / technical meeting with Contractor and consultant.
Position Title (Level) : Assistant Manager Contracts. Specialization : Eng.- Mec. & Ele. for AGL & Civil Infra-works. Role : Contracts Management. Industry : Airport Construction (A G L & M/E). Work Description : Post Contract Management for M & E section AGL & Civil infrastructure related works. Reporting to Commercial Manager & Project Manager ✓ Review Monthly Invoices of Subcontractor. ✓ Review Change Orders, formalize and obtain management approval. ✓ Reply to Subcontractor letters. ✓ Discuss with Commercial manager ongoing Contractual and site issues. ✓ Verify Site measurement. ✓ Negotiate with Subcontractor & Supplier on materials, terms and conditions. ✓ Prepare and issue Contract Documents with Commercial Manager Advice. ✓ Verify material prices from the local market. ✓ Co-ordinate with subordinates on the contract administration works and follow-up. ✓ Attend meetings within the internal department on construction commercial issues. ✓ Finalizing and reconciliation of final account with Sub-contractor. ✓ Coordinate with procurement department on the construction material purchase.
