• Develop, monitor, control, analyze and report on schedule related aspects for designated projects within the Portfolio
• Establish project budgetary costs and resources in the plan to determine time phasing of expenditure and the total budget of all the project at portfolio level
• Analyze, evaluate, and forecast current status against the established baseline schedule of assigned projects within a portfolio using Earned Value Analysis (CPI, SPI, EAC, ETC) and report to the top management and client
• Risks and Issues Management. Analysis of threats and opportunities that may impact the schedule and create corrective action plans
• Change Management. Timely identification, notification, resolution, and recording of deviations from approved baseline plan (scope, schedule and cost)
• Attend regular progress meetings with project Management, Engineering, Procurement and Construction as appropriate to ensure the work is being carried out in line with the agreed plans
• Understanding the Scope of work and deliverables of various disciplines and major milestones of the project and develop Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
• Develop, coordinate and maintain schedule, estimate, budget, resource, procurement, risk and other data including performance indices such as CPI, SPI, Earned Value, and other Key Performance Indices (KPIs). Forecasting of the projects (EAC)
• Performance Reporting - Weekly/Monthly progress reports and reporting to Management and Client
• Review schedule trends to identify problem areas and recommend corrective action to the management. Participate in progress meetings and monthly portfolio reporting
Major Projects Handled:
• Construction of water tank and filling station at Tathleeth center - Scope includes Underground storage tank, elevated water tank, pump station and misc. buildings (Project Value - 83 Million SAR)
• Jubail City Center Infrastructure Project, Jubail KSA - Project consists of utilities like Chilled Water Line, Potable Water Line, Irrigation water line, Storm Drainage Network, Sewerage line, Telecommunication Network and Electrical Power Distribution Network (Project Value - 353 Million SAR)
• Jubail Downstream Project, Jubail KSA -Project consists of Utility Culverts, Telecommunication Network and Storm Drainage Network (Project Value - 95 Million SAR)
• Project planning and scheduling of Engineering, Procurement and Construction / Power Projects after reading contract documents comprehensively and identifying the scope of work and contract duration
• Creating Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and baseline schedule using Primavera P6 / MS Project for project progress reporting
• Complete monitoring of the project and preparation of monthly progress report to analyze planned vs. actual progress. Generation of S-Curve and Resource Histogram
• Earned Value Management - Tracking and reporting project performance by calculating cost performance index (CPI) and schedule performance index (SPI)
• Participation in all aspects of the project management including planning, budget control and reporting
• Undertaking the detailed engineering of the project which includes extraction of all the essential information from basic engineering drawings and calculations to provide the exact drawings in detail for all production, fabrication & erection items and in turn the details of entire project along with the precise bill of quantities and specifications for each of the equipment
• Raising and monitoring purchase requisition to purchase & factory as per technical specifications and ensuring timely dispatch of materials
• Manage and coordinate site activities as per the contractual scope of work
• Time Impact Analysis - Recording delays and assist in claiming extension of time (EOT)
