Procurement of materials as per site requirements and specifications at comparative rates within stipulated time with reference to indents and budgets.
Carrying out procurement operations, e.g., RFQ, Price Comparison & PO.
Identify, develop qualified & reliable vendor base for each category items.
Keep informed of current developments in the field of purchasing, prices, market condition and new products.
Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, building and maintaining good relationship with them.
Good product knowledge of all supply items related to civil bulk, consumables, capital items, tools and tackles etc.
Keeping up the company standard of quality by the choice of materials used.
Establishing Credit facility with potential vendors;
Critical evaluation of offers covering techno commercial aspects. Strong negotiation skill to Negotiate for competitive prices, Credit terms and all other commercial terms.
Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations.
Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships
Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists
Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislation, regulations, standards, and best practices
Responsible for the outsourcing, ordering and preparing for all the materials need in the production
The implementation of the approved purchase orders to ensure shipped and cleared and delivered in the agreed deadlines in order to avoid delay.
Survey and preparation of the necessary international market for procurement activities and materials available studies and reporting to a specialist.
The nomination and selection of new suppliers and the preparation of their studies and evaluate the price and quality of specifications approved.
Follow-up to the provision of materials and supplies and items or any other operations are required.
Carry out any assignment or other tasks related to the job under the guidance of the Procurement officer.
Checking and completing the transactions:
- Receiving report for quantity and quality factors;
- Materials received on purchase order.
