• Prepare the company QA/QC manual and supervise all amendments and revisions in order to meet the project quality requirements and client’s expectations.

• Design and implement an auditing and control system capable of identifying the quality of the asphalt plants and crushers final products in order to deliver the best materials with an accepted cost.
• Hand over all documents and report for the completed projects in order to release the project retention at time after finishing the maintenance period.

• Identifying staff development and training needs and ensures that trainings are obtained.
• Attend all kick off meetings and coordinate all project requirements with the project owner/consultant.

Responsibilities :
• Sampling Materials and preparing frequency log according to specification requirements.
• Establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet testing schedules
• Technical input and supervision of production in crusher, concrete, asphalt and mixing plants.
• Coordination with manufacturer/ suppliers on selection suitable materials.
• Writing and reviewing technical reports, material submittals.
• Preparation of Material submittals, method statements and following up with consultant to get approval.
• Verification of materials test reports prior to submitting to the Consultant.
• Preparation and implementation of Aggregate Road Base, Concrete and Asphalt Mix Designs
• Overseeing the daily laboratory’s operations, and ensuring that all testing is executed in line with specified standards and compliance with company policies and procedures for safety and integrity
• Ensuring the adherence to the desired technical standards, and staying up to date with new technologies and developments.
• Coordination with independent labs for materials testing.
• Analyzing product failure data and laboratory test results to determine causes of problems and develop solutions
• Coordination with consultant for Inspection and testing of all kind of materials delivered to site for approval prior to using.
• Managing relationships with Consultant and Client.
Doha Expressway, Package 7 (Salwa Road)
• Review and approve Contractor’s Quality Assurance Program which assures the maintenance of adequate quality throughout all applicable areas of contract performance such as, inspections, testing, handling, storage and construction activities; to further verify that Contractor’s activities will comply with the specifications and all referenced standards.
• Review and approve Contractor’s Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) which identifies all required inspection and tests as per provisions of the specifications, the required testing frequency and the acceptance/rejection criteria.
• Implementation of ITP’s through established systems of Request for Inspection (RFI’s) and test procedures.
• Review and approve Contractor’s submittals for shop drawings, materials, samples, certificates, method statements and other submittals necessary for compliance with the project documentation.
• Review and approve Testing Laboratories intended to be used during the course of the contract.
• Organize and manage activities of laboratory established at site for field and laboratory testing of materials used in the construction of roads, bridges, buildings, landscapes and services; which include earthworks, embankments, backfilling, walkways, soil walls, road bases, asphaltic mixtures and constituent materials, various types of concrete mixes and constituent materials, prestressed concrete, grouts and plasters.
• Design and review various types of concrete and asphalt mixes and inspection of batching plants.
• Assign duties to inspectors (8 nos.) to inspect pouring of concrete, laying of asphalt, sampling and testing of materials, fresh as well as hardened concrete, asphalt mixes and field compaction for both day and night shifts.
• Supervision of construction of roads and bridges.
• Prepare monthly reports on quality control and maintain overall quality records to demonstrate conformance of materials and equipment to specified technical requirements and the effective operation of the quality system, which can be retrieved as required.
“The Pearl Qatar” Project, Roads and Infrastructure Package Supervision.
Responsibility :
Supervision of road works (embankments, aggregate bases and sub-bases, asphalt courses, kerbstones and barriers installation, rip - raping, road marking, reinforced soil wall systems) as well as structural works (construction of : underpass, 14 nos. vehicular bridges & 14 pedestrian bridges, retaining walls, Potable water reservoir, Pump stations, Primary and MV substations).
“The Pearl Qatar” Project, Roads and Infrastructure Package Supervision
Responsibilities :
Designing of various types of concrete mixes and evaluation of suitability of constituent materials, implementation of quality control program for various construction activities projects including testing of concrete, soils, asphalt and materials used in construction. Supervision of construction of bored cast in situ piles, their testing (Piles Static Load Test, Integrity Test) and analyzing results. Preparing of monthly QC reports for projects with graphical presentation for client.
Astana - Petropavlovsk Highway Construction Project
Astana - Shuchinsk Section, Km 150 to Km 183
Responsibilities :
Planning and execution of works according to drawings, methodology and program, assigning the works to the formens and organizing field testing of activities at site as per direction of Laboratory Engineer. Supervising of materials excavation in quarries and stockpiling activity. Analysis of materials condition and suitability for earthworks. Managing materials transportation and storing as well as inspection of spreading and compacting of backfill material on site. Planning in advance for all works related activities and mobilize resources like manpower, equipment and materials. Monitoring weekly and monthly quantities of work done.
The Dushanbe - Kyrgyz Border project comprises rehabilitation of 71km
long highway along with 6 bridges reconstruction and construction of
number of retaining walls, gabion walls, box culverts and also slope and
land sliding stabilization measures.
Responsibility : Technical assistance in quality control management, testing of raw materials, concrete and asphalt mix design preparation and monitoring, coordination of lab works, in addition to computer programming for Quality Control follow up.
Kulyab - Kalaykhumb Road Construction Project :
Skev - Zigar Section,
The road is 38 km length in the famous and remote Pamir
Mountainous, where a very complicated geology and terrains are present.
Project comprises construction of 6 bridges with max. span of 34m and total length of 230m. In addition the works constituted huge amount of earthworks(1.6 million m3), 65% of which is rock cut; 1.3 million m3 of embankment construction, construction of extensive amount of reinforced concrete retaining wall and gabion walls as well as slope protection works for both cut and fill slopes;
Responsibilities: Technical assistance in quality control management, testing of raw materials, concrete and asphalt mix design preparation and monitoring, coordination of lab works, in addition to computer programming for Quality Control follow up.
Kulyab -Kalaikhumb Highway Construction Project,
Shagon-Zigar Section, (5.5 km long)
Preliminary surveying of major and rural roads in addition with reworking of site survey data and preparing of cross-sections, plans and profiles. Assisting in collecting data and preparation of relevant document for technical and economic assessment of projects.
