KG2 Teacher of 26 Kuwaiti students, ages 4 - 6, using Pearson's Reading Street and enVisionMATH curriculum. Structured lessons to reach and motivate each child at their level of English language capability. Used reading Street weekly stories as basis for themes and activities. Wrote weekly lesson plans to include divergent reading levels and activities, phonics, written and illustrated journals, Social Studies, Science, Math, and Art. Graded and recorded school and homework each day as part of assessing each child's weekly progress. Developed action plans to include additional help and/or assignments to ensure that each student remained or exceeded quarterly targets. Distributed report cards and met with parents at the end of each quarter. Handled all disciplinary problems immediately in a positive and firm manner.

Worked with classroom assistant to prepare daily lessons and materials and to supervise morning breakfast and recess. Also worked with specialized teachers who taught Arabic language, Islam, Music, Computer, and PE Classes throughout the week. Met with KG2 teachers weekly to discuss the upcoming themes, activities, and events as well as concerns and/or problems that arose during the week.

Created and worked with students to perform in many school celebrations throughout the school year. These events were designed to showcase the children's talents and included Kuwait Independence Day celebration, International Day, Islamic competitions and performances, two KG2 weekly morning assemblies performed by each class on a rotating basis and the KG2 Graduation ceremonies. As part of the ceremony, each class performed an English language musical written by the homeroom teacher and an Arabic language musical written by the Arabic teacher.
