Handling the overall operation of the restaurant, assigning tasks and responsibilities to each individual to reduce the workload and pressures within the workplace. Ensuring that the staff provides a fast and excellent service, suggestive selling and upselling is being done to reduce food cost while increasing sales and hitting monthly target. Responsible for encoding and filing/organizing all the supplier’s invoices prior to submission to the accounts department. Generate monthly progress report and submitting it on time and handling the day to day sales cash, petty cash and arranging statements for reimbursement.
• Keeping a good relationship to all customers by answering all the queries and helping them with their needs inside the shop.
• Responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards generating sales, merchandising and safeguarding company assets.
• Attaining daily and monthly quota and achieving high sales
• Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
• Attending phone calls of the supplier’s date of deliveries.
• Receive phone calls and note down all messages pertaining to daily transactions.
• Receivables follow-up.
• Monitoring stocks and supplies of the product.
• Making everyday sales report in necessary to monitor the company profit.
• Bags or packages purchases
• Assists in the display of merchandise
• Maintains sales records for inventory control
• In charge in handling cash register.
• Ensuring that store hygiene standards are met at all times and that all products are handled accordingly.
• Using prescribed selling techniques to provide customers with friendly, courteous experience.
• Preparations of the orders and operates cash register accurately.
• Compute the product price and receives payment.
• Ensure attractive merchandise display.
• Reports to the manager for customer’s feedback, complaints and suggestions as well as stock levels.
Corresponding to mail and e-mails, handling incoming and outgoing phone calls
Operating office equipment i.e. faxes, printer, copier and computer.
Logging and checking of the Dean’s schedule for Board meetings, etc.
Encoding data for the Dean’s research for assimilation and dissemination of her department
