Am a Nutrition Officer conversant with Nutrition Counseling and Education with great communication skills. Detail oriented to all the arising challenges common to most breast feeding mothers during breastfeeding and complementary feeding. Knowledgeable also in Nutrition and HIV/AIDS In particular, my study in Community Nutrition from the Kenya Medical Training College has given me a solid background so that I am able to provide Nutrition Services as well as Implementation of Nutrition Programs. Conducting Nutrition Assessments using anthropocentric measurements and taking diet history, Conducting Growth Monitoring and Promotion, Providing Nutrition Counseling and Education as well as Demonstrations based on specific Disease Conditions and body requirements, Implementing Inpatient and Outpatient Therapeutic and Supplementary feeding programs for the Management of all forms of Malnutrition, Promoting Maternal, Infant and Young Children Feeding Programs as well as providing Micro and Macro Nutrient supplementation.
