• Support the HSE Manager in coordinating, planning, and implementation of effective HSE policies, guidance, and procedures in realizing the company goal of zero accident rate.
• Ensure QHSE compliance at site and perform regular QHSE inspections on-site activities.
• Provide continuous support for the site team on the implementation of the Company's aim of maintaining QHSE standards.
• Provide support to the project management team in all aspects of Safety, Occupational Health, and environmental issues.
• Maintain documentation and record-keeping of all health and safety activities.
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports and Safety Violation Slip where applicable in accordance with the Site HSE Plan.
• Maintain records of all accidents, Near Miss Incidents, Dangerous Occurrences.
• Conduct Tasks specific Training on Health and Safety, Site Induction, First - aid, and relevant drills.
• Develop a safe System of Work and Permit to work procedures.
• Conduct risk Assessment and advise other Engineers on risk prevention measures
• Conduct HSE training and Covid -19 Awareness to all employees
• Track and provide regular HSE performance reports to PM and HSE Manager
• Investigate and complete all close-out actions for all Accident investigations Reports and initiate proactive measures to avoid recurrence.
• Accompany the consultant for the Safety Site walk and close out all observations.
• Develop and implement safety plans, policies, and procedures.
• Safety and Emergency Trainings.
• Ensure full and accurate health and safety training records are maintained.
• First Aid and Emergency Responds
• Introduce proactive approaches to HSE
• Conduct HSE audits and inspections
• Conduct Risk Assessment workshops for various projects
• Deliver safety induction training, Tool Box Talk.
• Monitored compliance of “Permit to Work” system at the worksite and explain its importance to workers
• Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented
• Organizing and promoting a positive health and safety culture
• Establish a structured program of health and safety training throughout the company
• Ensure the company meets its statutory obligations in all areas pertaining to health, safety, and welfare at work, updated and communicated.
• Provide regular reports to the Human Resources Manager, Board of directors/ Senior Management Team on relevant changes to the business.
• Ensure full and accurate health and safety training records are maintained.
• Ensure the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
• Ensure that all accidents are documented, investigated and recommended improvements implemented.
• Assist HSE Engineer in conducting safety and emergency Training.
• Assist the HSE Engineer in developing and implementing safety plans, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure full and accurate health and safety training records are maintained.
• Assist HSE Engineer in conducting First Aid and Emergency Responses.
• Assist the HSE Engineer in introducing proactive approaches to HSE.
• Active participation in HSE audits and inspections carried out on site.
• Assist the HSE Engineer in conducting risk assessment workshops for various projects and job processes.
• Deliver safety induction, training, and tool Box talks.
• Monitor compliance with the “Permit to Work” system at the worksite and explain its importance to workers.
• Assist the HSE Engineer in ensuring the completion and regular review of risk assessments for all work equipment and operations.
• Assist the HSE Engineer in ensuring that all accidents are documented, investigated, and recommended improvements implemented.
• Assist the HSE Engineer in Organizing and promoting a positive health and safety culture.
• Proper documentation of all safety-related documents and ensuring all NOC are closed on time.
• Perform routine safety inspections on-site to identify potential hazards and prepare Safety Hazard Observation Cards to document these hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in carrying out accident and incident investigations and make sure all safety-related documents are updated regularly.
