 Provide support to operation/ management on the interpretation and application of HSEQ; rules, regulations, and legislation in the container terminal, vessel operation, warehouses, and material handling.
 Facilitate the implementation and administration of HSEQ policies, processes, systems, and monitor compliance with all relevant legislation, rules, and regulations.
 Support and encourage a behavioral-based approach to coaching positive safe behaviors
 Participate in the review of HSE &Q; performance measures, interpret results, and coach/influence staff on how to improve HS&E; performance.
 Perform safety administration duties and as an effective leader, motivator and coach
 Lead by demonstrating the required behaviors, attitudes, and mindset to further develop a strong corporate safety culture.
 Provide consultation and assist in risk assessment, hazard analysis, and job planning.
 Conduct safety audits, coordinate audit recommendations, and assist in the development of corrective action plans in consultation with project/department management.
 Performing my duties in an ethical and professional manner
 Contribute to and participate in leadership team and management conference calls and meetings as required
 Provide required support to the operation Supervisors, for strategy and program implementation and monitor that programs are in place and being maintained
 Implement new HSEQ initiatives and promotions as required
 Assist in prioritizing, training and support the implementation of all aspects of the field emergency response programs
 Assist or conduct incident investigations (dependent on the severity)
 Support the completion of timely regulatory and internal reporting/notification of events
 Ensure follow-up and/or investigation of events including submission of updates to HSEQ DEPT
 Provide direction to supervisory staff in the investigation and incident management process with a focus on root cause and prevention measures
 Provide guidance, training and technical support on Occupational, Health, and Safety issues.
 Provide sound advice to appropriate stakeholders, attending meetings, and interacting regularly with groups or individuals within the operating area.
 Participate in HSEQ meetings through topic suggestions, presentations, and monitoring of documentation and verify all documentation on-site for completeness and consistency.
 Work closely with operators, contractors, vendors, and other persons to ensure that the HSEQ mandates and vision are adhered to at all times

❖ Duties
* Conduct monthly equipment safety inspection, direct maintenance and repair of the defective equipments.
* Conduct daily safety inspection of the site, identify possible potential hazards and establish appropriate control measures.

* Prepare daily safety reports, draft and address safety observations to safety engineer.
* Conduct PPE inventories and place requisitions for new /replacement PPE.

speed limit and comply with the equipment pre check list as well as following the designed traffic routes and obey traffic rules in order to avoid unnecessary traffic accidents
* Supervise the site and identify any unsafe conditions and inform authorities immediately in case of any suspicious activities
