Provide support to operation/ management on the interpretation and application of HSEQ; rules, regulations, and legislation in the container terminal, vessel operation, warehouses, and material handling.
Facilitate the implementation and administration of HSEQ policies, processes, systems, and monitor compliance with all relevant legislation, rules, and regulations.

Work closely with operators, contractors, vendors, and other persons to ensure that the HSEQ mandates and vision are adhered to at all times

❖ Duties
* Conduct monthly equipment safety inspection, direct maintenance and repair of the defective equipments.
* Conduct daily safety inspection of the site, identify possible potential hazards and establish appropriate control measures.
* Ensure workers PPE compliance.
* Prepare daily safety reports, draft and address safety observations to safety engineer.
* Conduct PPE inventories and place requisitions for new /replacement PPE.
* Conduct incident investigations, identify primary causes and prevent reoccurrences.
* Establish safety enhancing programs such as safety refresher training and Tool Box Talks
* Enforcing company safety rules and regulations and ensure compliance of workers to company safety policies.
