 Assist the Global Recruitment and Selection Manager in formulating the overall Recruitment and Selection Strategy for UASC and HQ Dubai specifically
 Assist in establishing the recruitment budget with respect to the manpower plan covering all business units of UASC and devise strategies to achieve recruitment targets speedily and cost-effectively
 Generate and implement innovative and resourceful means to source candidates directly as far as possible, thus ensuring better control over costs and quality. Aim towards minimum lead-time in the process from vacancy identification to actual recruitment
 Assist in designing and implementing systems, approaches and procedures to facilitate recruitment - such as an updated database of candidates, UASC advertisements in various appropriate media, internet websites and networking within industry for effective response
 Use the web system Taleo to post vacancies, attract candidates and manage the candidates through the recruitment process
 Lead and create a recruitment plan for all assigned recruitment jobs in close cooperation with the hiring manager and execute all steps of this plan accordingly, according the agreed UASC recruitment policies, standards and instructions
 Execute recruitment activities following the UASC agreed standards and procedures, like - but not limited to - advertising jobs, use recruitment offices, pre-screening, setup, organize and/or conduct (phone) interviews, assessments, job offers, recruitment evaluations and reporting
 Ensure the administrative part of new joiners is handled correctly according to the standards and policy agreed in UASC
 Develop, implement and update the recruitment process, procedures and documentation (interview stages, phone interviews for overseas candidates, timely reference checks, adherence to checklists before final offer etc.) and implement changes to achieve cost effectiveness and speed
 Select and administer suitable assessment testing techniques and methods (e.g. personality and psychometric tests, assessment centres) to ensure selection of candidates with the right profile and competencies
 Organise all administrative actions for all approved transfers from one department or location to another, in order to meet the internal business requirements. Take all steps to update the computer system for all such changes
 Assist in maintaining the standards of the recruitment process internally and externally in order to ensure compliance of their activities with global recruitment policies and procedures
 Assist in creating and maintaining a valuable, actual and up-to-date database with future potential candidates and maintain regular contact with these potential candidates
 Plan and execute training programmes for existing employees to see if they match any new vacancies within the organisation
