• The provision of strategic and operational HR services and solutions to support the successful launch of HEC Paris in Qatar which included the development of the HEC Qatar HR strategic plan, the sourcing and effective on-boarding of Operational and Academic staff, the successful launch of various talent management and development initiatives, employee relations management, the design and development of the HEC Qatar HR manual, and the effective management of day-to-day HR operations for a period of four years;

Responsible for the strategic development of HR to support the organizational transformation and the change in culture required for Qtel to be successful in a competitive environment. Major accomplishments include:
• Design and implementation of a new company vision and values;
• Helped position Qtel as an employer of choice in the region;
• Designed and implemented a wide range of people development programs that contributed to developing current and future leaders so they can adapt, change and transform more effectively in a competitive environment;
• Designed and implemented talent development strategies and tools that allow individuals at all levels of the organizations to maximize their contributions to the success of the company
Omantel is the incumbent Telecom Service Provider in the Sultanate of Oman offering Data, Land Lines, Mobile and Internet Services. Omantel employs over 2, 200 employees and is currently in the process of making the transition from a government-owned enterprise to a joint-stock company.
Responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the HR and Training strategies, practices, programs, policies and systems in the area of manpower planning and recruitment, organizational design and development, compensation and benefits, performance management and training.
Major accomplishments include the successful implementation of a new HR vision, the introduction of a new compensation structure customized to the specific needs of Oman, new job descriptions and career path progressions. Design, development, and implementation of a change management program to effectively prepare managers to make the successful transition to a commercial workplace.
Saudi Telecom (STC) is the largest Telecommunication Company in Saudi Arabia offering Data, Land Lines, Mobile and Internet Services. STC employs over 23, 000 employees Kingdom-wide and has successfully transitioned from a government-owned enterprise to a joint-stock company. CGI is the fifth largest independent information technology-consulting firm in North America and employs over 10, 000 employees worldwide.
Major accomplishments include the successful implementation of the new Reward and Performance Functional Unit, successful presentations to the STC Board of Directors resulting in the approval and launch of the new STC Pay and grade Structure, the approval and launch of the new STC Performance Management Process, the approval of a Variable Pay Scheme and Performance Bonus linked to individual and company performance as well as several other compensation-related programs.
I held a dual role of Harmonization Project Manager as well as General Manager of Human
Resources. As Project Manager, I oversaw the effective harmonization of Systems, Processes
and Work Conditions. This project was the largest of its kind in the history of CGI and involved
the implementation of significant changes and involved the harmonization for over 1500
employees and 400 contractors. As General Manager, Human Resources, I managed a group of
15 HR professionals with responsibility for the development and implementation of HR strategies
encompassing all aspects of the HR function. This included implementing change in the areas of
HR systems, compensation, training and development, benefits, HR policies and recruiting.
Sun Life is a leader in the Canadian Financial services
Responsible for leading the Sun Life transformation program. In this role, I contributed to
redefine the vision and direction of our division to ensure that strategic and operational objectives
were met. Significant accomplishments were recognized both internally and externally in the
following areas:
• Designed, developed and implemented new contracts and compensation programs for
directors, sales managers and representatives;
• Managed the design and development of management and compensation systems to
effectively support the Revitalization activities. This included the implementation of a new
compensation system, the establishment of real-time sales reporting systems as well as the
upgrade of the existing computerized administrative systems;
• Modified the legal status of Sun Life representatives which resulted in annual savings of over
3 million;
