My job at Salini Impregilo is HSE Manager on the Copenhagen metro project, primarily tunneling and civil Engineering works. The project consists of 21 stations and 31km of tunnels.
I was employed by SLT to establish and develop a HSE organization for their project on the Riyadh Metro. I developed and implemented their HSE plan and safe working procedures, risk assesments and emergency plans. I personally hired all the HSE team and lifting teams and conducted all training required by the client FAST consortium. The results were clear to see with the company being awarded several saftey awards on line 4, and being voted the best sub contractor on the project for it's safety culture and management awareness and commitment to HSE.
As a Royal Engineers Section Commander I was in command of eight to thirty soldiers on various engineering tasks, from bridge construction to road construction and demolitions. I also applied this skill in an underwater environment when I qualified as a Army specialist diver.
