•Spearheaded a strong Health and Safety ethic in the workplace across all disciplines, especially in Managing Occupational Road Risk.
Achievements
•Used a wide range of strategies in order to import and register over 300 vehicles into Iraq, successfully overcoming the immense challenges encountered when dealing with Government Agencies and Officials. Combined with in country procurements, doubled the OG fleet profile to in excess of 500 units.
•Engaged with both internal and external IT professionals to implement effective management solutions expanding system capability to provide economic and effective asset management.
•Liaised with and advised manufacturers over technical development of products, to improve equipment performance and reliability, significantly reducing overheads.
•Implemented “duty of care” initiatives including familiarisation training, licence checks and driver assessments.
•As Group Fleet Manager devised innovative funding options helping to drive fleet costs down by 450, 000 $US pa.
•As Garage Manager implemented preventative maintenance policy, increasing fleet reliability and raising residual values.
•As Military Section Leader, negotiated exceptional support levels from manufacturers improving operational effectiveness by increasing equipment availability by 30%.
•Value added activities include advising Government Departments on transport and fleet issues including IT systems, policy, planning and implementation.
Leading the Fleet and Maintenance Department for a leading multi-national Security, Information and Solution provider in Iraq. \[Olive Group\] Fleet assets in excess of 50 Million $US, three maintenance facilities and 30 technical and administrative staff.
•Responsible for all aspects of Fleet and vehicle maintenance provision, advising stakeholders on best practice, procurement, disposal and accident management strategy.

•Managing the Fleet and Maintenance Department for the largest FMCG group in the Middle East, \[Almarai Company\] 70 depots across 6 countries, over 2, 500 vehicles and 33, 000 shop coolers with 250 multi skilled staff and asset value over 100 Million $US.
•Develop technical solutions to enhance operational performance, then use advanced communication and negotiating skills to influence manufacturers to incorporate design improvements at source.
