o Developed physical based and empirical based constitutive models to predict the
hot deformation behavior of Ti6Al4V alloy with varying initial microstructures
and incorporated in FEM FORGE tool. A new mechanism of dynamic
recrystallization during hot deformation of Ti6Al4V alloy was identified using
EBSD analysis.
o Carried out, structure property correlations of industrial products and failure
analysis of samples.
o Worked closely with the aerospace product development team of Bharat Forge
Ltd., in the manufacturing of a Ti6Al4V fan blade for an aero engine, as well as
advising on how to make mechanical property improvements.
