Sales Engineer/Account Manager at Hilti Emirates LLC (December 2014 - present)

1) I am currently working at Hilti Emirates as a sales engineer for the elevators and escalators systems in the UAE market. Basically, I am in charge of all the conveyance systems in all the Emirates

2) Here are some of our clients that I am currently handling: Schindler, OTIS, ThyssenKrupp, Kone, Siemens (SD Middle East for airports logistics solutions), Toshiba Elevators, Hyundai Elevators, Al Futtaim Engineering Elevator Division.

3) I am currently working on several projects like the Abu Dhabi airport project extensions and Dubai Mall extensions

4) I deal with the CEOs, purchasing managers, technical directors, project managers and engineers of these companies on a daily basis to make sure that all the requirements and expectations are not just met but exceeded.

5) I am also in touch with our global teams in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, UK, KSA and Qatar to develop new systems for the elevators market in the UAE that will make us ahead of the competition.

6) Furthermore, I followup with the engineers to do demonstrations on site with our tools and show them the value proposition that Hilti products have compared to the competitors.

District Sales Manager at Zomato Private Limited Dubai Branch (June 2014 - October 2014)
Zomato is the biggest online restaurant discovery website in UAE. As a district sales manager, it’s my duty to deal with all our Arabic clients and to bring more Arabic clients to our website so that we become more popular and bigger in the UAE market.

Monflora company is one of the leading companies in the industrial catering in Egypt. Basically, the company provides catering services for the workers and the managers of factories and all other engineering sectors like the construction and the petroleum industry. Furthermore, it provides other industrial and engineering services like the construction of the kitchens and maintenance of the equipments in the site. I am currently working in the P&G and General Motors project.

I had an Internship at the United Gas Derivatives Company (UGDC) from 31/07/2011 to 11/08/2011. The internship was at a natural gas power plant. At the first week we were introduced to the safety induction program and the necessary precautions that must be taken into consideration at the site. Afterwards, we were asked to study the layout of the plant and its components. I got the chance to work on various small components of the gas turbines such as the mechanical seals.

I had an Internship at Orascom Construction Industries (OCI) which was from 01/08/2010 to 31/08/2010. The name of of the site was the National Institute of Mass Media. The idea of the project was to renovate the site so that it could be used as a studio for the presidential speeches. I was assigned by my supervisor to supervise over the site workers and to ensure that the tasks are finished precisely and in time. Furthermore, it was my task to ensure that all the components of the pump room are working efficiently. In addition, it was my task to ensure that the sprinklers are put in the right position and that the distances between them are correct.

I had an internship at the Maadi Engineering Car Company (Mercedes-Benz authorized service center). I mainly worked as a maintenance engineer on all the various Mercedes car classes.

I had an internship at MCV which was from 15/07/2010 to 30/07/2010. Basically, MCV is the official maintenance center of Mercedes-Benz and Chrysler automobiles in Egypt. I got the chance to work by my hands on the gearbox system of the automobiles. Furthermore, I was introduced to the basics of the air conditioning systems of the buses. Moreover, I learned about the electrical systems of the automobiles and their operations.

I had an internship at Xerox (Egypt) which was from 01/08/2008 to 15/08/2008. In the first week I took a course about the basics of the printing technology which comprised the models and various functions of the Xerox printers and other machines. In the second week I had an industrial training at various sites in Egypt. I worked as a maintenance engineer on different Xerox machines with their different sizes under the supervision of a maintenance engineer.
