MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ARE
Programme Development
• Develop Baseline schedules and construction programs and provide guidance to Construction crews regarding the same.
• Prepare planning documents for tenders and contract bids
• Preparing Phasing (2D presentation of sequence of activities) to show sequence of activities to construction crews.
• Developing advanced Excel templates for updating progress, tracking, monitoring and reporting purposes
• Developing advanced Excel spreadsheets for monitoring engineering and procurement deliverables
• Developing and maintaining adequate planning and scheduling procedures and guidelines
• Resource loading (material, manpower, and cost) into programmes as per the estimation received from other engineers
• Prepare and develop catch-up / recovery programme if required.
Monitoring and Control
• Tracking, Monitoring, analysing progress of work using primavera, MS Project etc
• Implementation & coordination of LEAN at site
• Coordinating labour resources, and procurement and delivery of materials, plant and equipment
• Consulting with Architects, Engineering and other professionals, and Technical and Trades Workers
• Negotiating with project stakeholders involved in the construction process to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Provides guidance, direction, and specialized assistance for the resolution of difficult project control problems.
• Weekly Site visits, to review site progress, to ensure work is ongoing as per plan to reduce rework & delays and also to ensure safety and quality at site
• Conducting and participating in meetings (i.e. planning meeting, schedule review meeting, progress meeting, coordination meeting etc.)
Reporting and Analysis
• Analyses, evaluates, and forecasts progress and performance against an established baseline schedule using S curves and histograms
• Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients
• Preparation of Project Cash flow/S curves & Histograms
• Resource levelling & critical path analysis
• Developing Look ahead Schedules, earned value reports, manpower reports, weekly and monthly reports, as required by the Site Team.
• Assesses the impact(s) of design or construction changes and schedule slippages.
Subcontractor management
• Analysing and approving subcontractor schedules
• Monitor subcontractor's performance and advise planning manager of any schedule delays or interface issues
• Audit and validate value of work done claimed by subcontractor and endorsing progress invoices for payment.
• Closely monitoring progress on site by subcontractors and validate on a week by week the actual percentage of progress achieved.
• Assist planning manager to analyse subcontractor’s schedule delay claim
• Plan and manage projects, and prepare material, cost and timing estimates, reports and Schedule specifications for Construction

• Supervise & Monitoring project execution & discussed weekly progress with the Project Manager and team members
• Discuss weekly progress and site issues with the Management and team members
• Participating in meetings
• Monthly valuation, submission and follow up of project running account \[RA\] bill with client engineer
• Review and certify subcontractor monthly bills.

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
