⦁ Assess date reflective of the patient’s status.
⦁ Interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient’s requirements.
⦁ Provide the care needed as described in the unit’s policy and procedures.
⦁ Knowledge of heart diseases, cardiac anatomy and physiology.
⦁ Administer interventional procedures, including infusion pump, electrocardiogram, echocardiogram, treadmill stress test, holter monitoring and blood measure monitoring.
⦁ Identify conditions and developed treatment plans.
⦁ Educate patients and their families help them make lifestyle changes that contribute to recovery.
⦁ Assess and care for patients with heart problems.
⦁ Respond with initial diagnosis to person undergoing sudden life threatening emergency.
⦁ Monitor patients for any negative signs of a change in condition.
⦁ Administer medication and help with basic personal care needs.
⦁ Develop a plan of action for the patient’s care.
⦁ Provide a collaborative approach to patient care.
⦁ Operate complex technical equipment.
⦁ Knowledge of healthcare and cardiopulmonary issues and good organizational and management skills.
⦁ Provide rapid assessment and treatment to patients in the initial phase of illness or trauma and often in life threatening situations.
⦁ Specialize in assessing, intervening and stabilizing variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action that may require urgent treatment and care.
⦁ Understanding triage which is a method of prioritizing injuries based on medical need.
⦁ Accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
⦁ Comply with protocols, procedures and safety policies of a health care facility
