DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assesses and evaluates patient condition before, during and after treatment to ensure that the patient is fit to undergo rehabilitation and to know if the patient is responding to the rehabilitation program.
Performs physical therapy procedures following the rehab consultant’s treatment plan.
Conducts patient rounds with rehab consultant.
Records accurately all assessments, treatments, and procedures done to patient.
Encodes charges to computer and issues charged slip.
Prepares required reports.
Prepares medical certificates or referral notes to other hospital.
Prepares and submits weekly requisition of supplies.
Maintains PT machines clean and in good working condition and reports any defect.
Supervises and evaluates the performance of PT interns.
Facilitates case presentation and conducts practical exam to PT interns.
Always ensures cleanliness and safety of premises.
Performs other related functions assigned by superiors.
