• Assessment and classification of patient’s medical status (e.g. medically fit, medically fit with ailments, unfit) for employment abroad and locally
• Performs thorough physical examination for any abnormalities and records findings

Emergency Room:
• Provide initial management and care of patients with acute illness or injuries which require immediate medical attention
• Diagnose a variety of illnesses and undertake acute interventions to resuscitate and stabilize patients
• Triage patients’ treatments based on severity of their condition and admit patients if deemed for hospital admission
• Referral to in-house or visiting Consultant
• Facilitate referrals to other medical facility if necessary, assist the order and priority of emergency transport to the destination and provide corresponding medical summary
• Handle outpatient care and treatment including minor surgery of uncomplicated laceration
Ward:
• Includes basic ward works such as nasal gastric tube insertion, phlebotomy, Foley catheter insertion and ACLS
• Patient assessment and evaluation prior to referring patients to their corresponding attending physician
• Initiate palliative management and treatment
• Conducting and recording progress report
• Facilitate referrals to other medical facility if necessary and assist the order of emergency transport with corresponding medical summary
• Prepares discharge summary
Operating and Delivery Room:
• First assist on major and minor surgeries which includes general surgical procedures and Obstetrics and Gynecological procedures
Out Patient:
• Handles ambulatory care with diagnosis of common diseases, communicable diseases, and sexually transmitted infection and provides appropriate management
• Performs thorough physical examination, evaluates medical history, and records findings
• Refers accordingly to specialist and subspecialist if with complicated illnesses for further evaluation and management
• Educates and answers queries of patients about illnesses and or findings and gives advice on preventive medicine
• Follow-up of patients undergoing treatment, post treatment, and those with additional medical test and further management needed
• Provides Medical Certificate and Sick Leave attestation
• Perform minor surgical procedures (e.g. circumcision, incision and drainage)
• Removal of sutures
