Roles and Responsibilities
Tallying physical and book stock- Ensuring that the Physical Stock take is done rechecked and tallied with book stock hence stock difference is verified and corrected.
Stock balance reports are prepared based on the physical stock, based on brand wise, product wise or design wise and give to the concerns including the vendors as per their need.
Making sure that product in sales floor is in packed condition having respective price tags, If not replaced with respective with reference.
Making sure that all goods in sales floor are with security tags hence avoiding floor shrinkage.
Helping merchandiser in identifying stock from sales floor for sales promos. Thus clearing unsold products.
Unsold consignment goods are withdrawn from the floor and returned to the vendors along the Debit Note.
Making sure that goods to be return back are well packed.
Contacting vendors on issues related to stock like stock balance, arrival of stocks, withdrawal of stock and mode of transport for product delivery.
