• Purchase ledger duties consist of matching and coding invoices as well as running BACS payments. Furthermore dealing with the allocation of payments of invoices.
• The Sales ledger aspect involves daily banking reconciliation as well as setting up new clients and chasing outstanding payments by customers.
• Dealing with the monthly payments of expenses for the employees making sure they are all processed on time using SAP Concur.
• Reconciling finance accounts and direct debits.
• Dealing with clients queries about invoices and contracts.
• Working on monthly reconciliations using SAP data to help present end of period profit and loss figures.
• Also dealing with accounts receivable in aiding with credit control duties.

• Reconciling all store tender balance sheet accounts.
• Using Sales figures in forecasting monthly sales and comparing actual and projected sales at month end duties.
• Investigating fraud activity within the business and following up with the individual payment acquirers so as to minimize loss.
• Liaising with the security department to maintain up to date records of fraud activity and suspicious card records.
• Analyzing large data sets to provide the Head of Department insight and understanding into areas of interest within the business. For example analysis of pension auto enrollment impact as a cost to the business.
• Maintaining clear lines of communication between the concession accountant and the fraud team so as to ensure Harrods is paid in a timely manner.
• Worked within the Payroll team organising and developing a new format to set up a more eficient way for employees to accesses their financial information.
• This project allowed to me develop my excel skills as well as using new programs like Kronos.

• Worked alongside the Head of Finance to update client information for this leading international business information provider of credit information and credit management solutions.
• Worked with the companys SAP database software to update and maintain client information
• Analyze and verify client data and organize thereafter within Microsoft Excel. Allowed me to develop intermediate Excel level skills.
• Worked with the CRM software Oracle to record key client information for transparency within the Sales and Marketing team.
