Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co. Ltd., C/O Shoaiba RO Ph.#4 Desalination Plant Project, Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC), (Plant Capacity 400, 000 m3/day SWRO Technology, ), Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, worked as a Mechanical Engineer from 14th May 2019 to 28th Sep 2020.
Accountabilities & Responsibilities:-
Support to the construction manager in planning, scheduling and monitoring of fieldwork activities as to manpower, tools, equipment and material requirement.
Monitor manpower, equipment and materials provided to ensure services are satisfactory and in accordance with the construction requirement.
Check the construction schedule and follow up subcontractor’s work for site implementation.
Arrange and coordinate contractor specific application on installation and construction from all mechanical works as per constructions approved drawings & plan.
Ensure full implementation of project accordance with mechanical construction and installation drawings.
Prepare technical correspondence reports and method statements for site installation.
Responsible for erection & maintenance of mechanical equipment’s heavy duty pumps, compressed air system, chemical storage & dosing system including integral piping (Ferric chloride, Sodium Hypochlorite, Sulfuric Acid, Sodium Hydroxide and Anti-Scalant).
Responsible for erection & maintenance of piping & pumps of RO (SWRO & BWRO) system.
Responsible for erection of all types piping supports, pipe rack & steel structures.
Responsible for erection of tanks, vessels and piping of chemical neutralization and post treatment system.
Responsible for erection of Overhead Cranes / Electrical Hoists / Gantry Cranes.
Responsible for erection of Seawater Screening system & Pumping station.
Review the project technical specification, drawings and documents and follow up with contractor for site work implementation.
Prepare plan for site execution of all the mechanical activities to meet overall progress of project.
Responsible for preparation of daily / weekly report and catchup plan for backlogs.
Identify the hazards at workplace and continuously follow up with subcontractor for all safety measures and precautions should be taken during the site work.
Ensure for site work implemented to fully satisfy customer needs and expectations and company objectives.
Responsible for hydro test & chemical cleaning of steel piping of RO system. (SWRO & BWRO)
