• Spearheading the efforts in Designing, installation, maintaining & configuration of the network (hardware/software) on Linux platform.
• Troubleshooting & providing Technical Support for day-to-day operations and managing assets & Helpdesk activities including remote assistance to clients.

• Efficiently providing administration and troubleshooting for network servers and resolving connectivity issues
• Managing complete troubleshooting activity pertaining to Performance, Network Administration, Application Conflicts and Bugs and Addressing overall queries involving Information System/ Software & extending onsite support to the clients including maintenance of hardware / software.
• Monitoring & controlling the IT infrastructure to ensure maximum availability of the Servers.
• Installing and Configuring the Squid proxy gateway server to control access to the internet traffic.
• Installing and configuring the iptables firewall for controlling access from the internet to the internal network elements like Sendmail, FTP servers, Application servers (orienttiles & others)
• Installing and Configuring Network Bandwidth Monitoring tool nagios.
• Solely responsible for designing the internal network security policy and implementing the same through Linux, DNS Server, DHCP server.
• Performing error analysis and recovery, documentation and procedures required for reference.
• Analyzing root cause of failures and evolved breakdown solutions within minimum turnaround time
• Control backup and archiving process on production systems.
• Monitoring, Controlling and performing all scheduled activities on local and remote servers.
• Installation, Configuration and Management of Linux Server in RHCE 6.0.
• Administration of Apache, Samba, DHCP, DNS, Mail Servers.
