Monitors and controls contractual risks and issues with Client, Al Hosn Gas / GASCO in close cooperation with Project Director and Deputy Project Director. Prepares contractual correspondence for Main Contract and subcontract issues.
- Reviews contractual risks and scope of work issues with Client and subcontractors.
- Ensures compliance with project Specifications, HSE and other contractual requirements.
- Manages Subcontractor compliance with subcontract and main contract requirements.
- Coordinates with Client, Subcontractors and other Contractors.
- Assists the Construction Manager with daily contractual, management and operational issues especially during his absence from site.
- Project Scope: Piles, Flares, Pipe Racks and Modules fabrication, transportation and offshore installation. Marine Spread Operation and Management for Hook-up and Commissioning Works.
Reviews Main Contract documents prior to signature by company representative. Manages preparation, submission and negotiation of variation orders, monthly valuations, scope issues and contractual correspondence. Manages preparation of Subcontract packages for issuance to proposed subcontractors, price analysis and negotiation, preparation of subcontract, finalization and administration, scope issues and conflict resolution.
Prepares, compiles, reviews and follows-up/negotiates Variation Order Claims to the Employer. (Total amount of variation order submitted: QR 35M). The focus is on getting correct and proper documentations for the Mechanical and Electrical Works. The project is the Hamad Medical City (HMC)Residential Works ( also known as the Asian Games Athlete's Village) which will be ultimately used for the HMC staff.
It is anticipated that my next assignment will be the new 63-storey tower project expected to commence in early 2006 at the West Bay Area, Doha or the New Doha International Airport Project with the design stage commencing in the 2nd quarter of 2006.
Review of project contracts to evaluate and clarify scope of works issues, preparation and submission of claims and variations, coordination and negotiation with Client and Subcontractors, Preparation of Contractual letters. Achieved approval of variation orders amounting to SR 25M prior to project completion.
Prepares and submits billings, reviews subcontractor billings, prepares monthly productivity reports, prepares monthly progress reports.
The company is ISO compliant and has extensive experience with ISO managed construction contracts.
Prepares and administers the final close-out of the project which were completed on time and with savings.
The projects included turnkey 100, 000 sq.m. (floor Area) Dairy Factory, Utility Buildings, Workshops and Accommodation facilities.
Currently assigned with the Asian Games Village project in Qatar.
Conducts trainings, reviews, approvals and provides guidance for procurement and tender of various packages in implementation of 21 subprojects financed by World Bank and managed by the Department of Finance of the government of the Republicof the Philippines.
Preparation of Tender Documents, review and recommendation on tenders, review and recommendation of billings, preparation of billings, cost/manpower performance analysis. Projects include International Airport Expansion, Central Water and Sewerage Network, Dams, Telecomunications, Commercial Buildings, Government Buildings, Golf Club and Roads.
Prepares estimates, reviews scope of works issues, coordinates with subcontractors, prepares and submits claims/variations, prepares and submits billings, reviews subcontractor billings, prepares monthly productivity reports, prepares monthly progress reports.
The projects included turnkley Air Base Facilities and Civilian Airport Upgrading. The contract used are FIDIC based contracts.
