Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action in a timely manner.
Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements and international best practice.
Report any works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordance with approved drawing and specifications.
Monitor quality of works and assess the safety at site including health and environmental issues, ensuring compliance with contractual / QCS specifications and safety and health risk assessments.

Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at site and non-conformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.

Site supervision for Structural, Finishing & Infrastructure works
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and work of any subcontractors
Ensure that all materials used and works performed are in accordance with the specifications.
Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
Read drawings/plans and communicated them to site personnel.
Report to the QA/QC Manager.
Ensures that received QA/QC records (drawings, reports, submittals etc.) are kept in order and made readily accessible.
Maintains communication with the SPM and Pilot to ensure adequate process capability and information feedback.
Coordinates / deals directly with the Site Management and Subcontractor to identify deficiencies.
Ensures that work is carried out and executed as per the approved drawings, specifications and material submittal sheets.
Establishes liaison with the Consultant’s Representative on quality-related matters and makes available, upon request, copies of documentation and test performed.
Rejects and issues non-conformance report for work that does not comply with contract documents. Reports any work disagreement with the SPM to Senior Engineer.
Ensures that all materials and equipment installed on Site or fabricated off-site conforms with the contract documents or MMS.
Review test procedures, coordinates and agrees with the Consultant on test date.
Monitor tests or examinations carried out by Junior Engineers to ensure its conformity with contract documents or QA/QC applicable practices.
Assumes the logging of non-conforming works and the corrective action procedures and report on such to concern SPM and Senior Engineer.
Ensures that all openings, related to his Service, above false ceilings are properly sealed and fire zoning is not infringed.
Ensures that QA/QC copy of revised documents carries an appropriate revision number, date, status and that all obsolete documents are destroyed.
Ensure that as-built information is recorded daily on the QA/QC copy of the drawings.
Follow-up on Reserve List (M0) with the SPM, Subcontractor and the Maintenance Division and ensures lifting of valid points.
Initiates with the Subcontractor, in coordination with the SPM and Consultant, the commissioning of equipment and systems.
Attend Projects hand-over to Client Representative and/or Maintenance Division.
Verifies methods for testing, instrument calibration and evaluation for performing designated inspection and testing.
