• Conducting of site/job specific HIRA’s (Hazard Identification Risk Assessments) and A&I (Environmental Aspects and Impacts).
• Annual Planned Task Observations to be carried out.
• Monthly SHEQ Meetings. Ensure SHE Inspection deviations reported, action are taken.
• Ensure SHEQ related objectives and targets are achieved
• Ensure the implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement.
• Manage Contractor Appointments - ensure contractor compliance.
• Arranging annual medicals for all the road staff (Driver’s and crew) and Admin Staff.
• Investigate Environmental “best practices”, and ensure legal compliance thereof

• Unitrans is contractor on site, site supervisor report to ops manager, daily check truck utilization and cost per ton, per km, payload variances, fix cost and variable cost on vehicles, fuel consumption, overtime, and travel- turnaround times.
• Ensure high efficiency achievement on all areas.
• Revise operational and working practices, and ensure compliance with such standards.
• Budget control i.e., maintenance, fuel variance reports etc.
• Manage security - ensure adequate security control measures are in place.

• Oversee and monitor all day-to-day operations and logistics, ensuring that the operation runs smoothly to standard and feed quality practices are constantly maintained.
• Continually seek new and innovative methods, systems to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the operation.
• Ensure the machinery runs effectively and efficiency.
• Manage and improve down time to ensure efficiency on production.
• Stand in for Mill Manager.
• Monthly union meetings/discussion
• Ensure full legal compliance on OHS and environmental.
• Prepare for Marsh audits.
• Co-ordinate and control monthly stock take.
• Sustainability initiatives - KPI to reduce waste, usage of water, electricity etc.
• Compliance to ACT 36.
• Control and reporting of regular contractors on site i.e., Ecowise (cleaning), Unitrans (transporters), Servworx (PPE/clinic on site), Phakisa (Labour Broker).
• Risk Assessments and the implementation of control measures.

Do in depth analysis in connectiorization of fiberoptic leads.

Give technical support of all fiber cable assemblies (Telcom spec).

Good relationship with ISCOR.
Transport division - 30 ton and 5 ton trucks.
Frontend loader and forklifts.
Drying of materials (use coal).
Milling section (ball mills).
Dispatch:
Storage of materials in silos.
Packaging plant bags and bulk loading by rail and road.
Weighbridge control.
Maintenance:
Plant improvements.
Production improvements.
Preventative maintenance and shut downs. all mechanical and electrical systems, soft starters installations, OCB maintenance etc
Daily maintenance.
