• Determined which DATA PAC line is down by following the Poll code back to the Bridge (TD TURBO II SERVER) and resetting the BELL DVAC box, connect the Terminator and pressing the button if connector is present
• STOPPED/STARTED line on TD Tandem servers if needed
• Contacted BELL Canada 2nd level support help desk once line is determined down to open a trouble ticket with BELL of the TD lines in question
• Contacted NCR via SOLVE application if troubled lines were to be owned by NCR
• Provided 80+ technical support calls a day for various Point of Sale devices, including dialup modem terminals, wireless cellular terminals and broadband ready terminals
• Performed PD for TD terminals over the phone. i.e. changed dialing features of a modem terminal, downloaded updates off TD Tandem Server
• Dispatched a technician if the situation requires on site visit to replace terminal or simply to test the telephone line
• Performed troubleshooting procedures on TD IP Terminals for TD Routers and High speed Modems provided by ISP such as Bell or Radiant to find the cause of the Terminal failure at merchants site

CDMA
• Audited the CDMA wireless bills for the usage after it has been determined by management that the terminal has been dialing in times the store was closed
• Determined the times and dates when wireless Point Of Sale was dialing
• Calculated the difference the merchant should be rebated
• Issued billing rebate on behalf of the merchant to management for approval
• Contacted merchant on behalf of Bell for Collection of outstanding balance due to usage of TD wireless units
• Ordered merchant’s agreement to see if merchant has sign the proper papers for merchants refusing to pay Bell bill
• Made compromising deals to clear the outstanding Bell bill due to the use of the TD wireless terminal
• Issued tickets to settle the dispute
• Facilitated 40+ repairs and installations daily (followed directives from work order), diagnosed and repaired hardware and software issues on desktops and laptops
• Updated the OS to Win XP or Win 2000 on IBM servers and notebooks as required per order on daily basis
• Performed inspections on new installations for possible defects of hardware such as DVD Drives, sound cards, video cards, RAM chips, CPU’s, CMOS batteries or Motherboards
• Marked and gathered defected parts and send them back to the shipping channels of IBM with the proper work order attached
