1. Assist the Project Managers/Project Staff for a better Management of the project during Initiating, Planning, Execution, Monitor and Control & Closing Processes.
2. Preparing Risk Register Log which is containing the list of identified risks, potential responses, Description of risks, name of risk owner, cause and effects of risks, triggers, preliminary risk responses, risk category, etc.
3. Act as a liaison between EPC Contractor/ Client/ Engineering Department and the project for all technical issues.
4. Studying project design, client requirements, and study / interpret the construction specification and drawings; identify design problems & conflicts to resolve the same.
5. Guide the QS while quantifying the materials required from the drawings and recommend the specifications to procure the materials in full coordination with Procurement Department.
6. Completing technical studies; preparing cost analysis.
7. Study and review quotations received from Sub-contractors, preparing comparison statements and basis of selection.
8. Manage the Submittal process to ensure all engineering submittals are submitted in accordance with the project schedule; maintain all documents in an organized manner for easy reference.
9. Coordinating activities and technical problems resolving, analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems for the project & client.
10. Coordinate the work of all disciplines to accomplish tasks and to ensure that all details are included in drawings.
11. Assist the Project staff in meetings with consultant engineers, third party agencies, construction project engineers, professional and technical groups and sub contractors regarding project activities.
12. Provide support to Site Engineers to monitor construction work being completed for compliance with contract documents and specifications.
13. Familiarity with international codes like ASTM, BS, etc…
14. Conversant with all kinds of drawings namely Piping &Instrumentation Diagrams, Plot plan, isometrics, concrete workshop drawings, reinforcement drawings, structural steel drawings, etc..
• Following up Projects through project's Processes during ( Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitor & control and Closing )
• Technical office supervision duties.
• Workshop drawings supervision.
• Co-ordinations and meetings with the PMO (Project Management office)
• Meetings with all stakeholders (Owner, Consultants, Contractors, Project Managers & engineers etc….)
• Reporting to the Top Management.
