Responsible to the Vice President ( Feed Planning) for developing strategic and operating plans to insure that the company has the appropriate resources to support current forecasted business and projected growth. To communicate resource plans to gain consensus from Sales, Supply Chain and Manufacturing that respond to current and expanding markets. Managing and leading a support group of Master Planners (Supply Chain, MPS and MRP) at multiple locations with full responsibility for implementing all supply planning, system and strategies.
Responsible to the Asst President (Purchasing) for managing all inventory control related activities. Execute inventory control measures to ensure the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock system and paperwork accuracy. Carries responsibility for working with purchasing, goods inward and dispatch to ensure necessary functions are carried out correctly to ensure materials availability on time.
Responsible to the Logistics & Materials Manager for the systematic and disciplined process by which manufacturing plans and programs are determined, information issued for their execution. Establishes production manufacturing priorities for the customer demands consistent with master scheduling requirements, inventory objectives and service level goals. Review and adjust material plan regularly to reflect changes in system parameters and MPS.
Responsible to the Plant Manager for review and updates on changes to item attributes, routing, planning parameters, lead times, safety stock and shrinkage rates and other parameters to drive MRP correctly. Coordinates manufacturing activities and monitors schedule performance against plan to maintain priorities and meet established schedules
Responsible to the Planning Manager (Telecom Division) for plans and preparation of production schedules for manufacture of industrial and commercial telecom cables. Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecast or customer orders.
Responsible to the Department Manager for directs supervision on activities of the production operation in a shift regarding efficient production, motivation and controls of machine operators and strict compliance of production schedules.
