Responsibilities & duties:
Responsible for structural analysis calculations and review.
Review the submitted shop drawings, calculations and soil reports by sub-consultants and subcontractors before submission to the client for approval.
Structural design for all temporary steel works such as lifting cradles, post fix steel beams and connections.
3D Structural modeling using computer technology such as TEKLA structures for simulation purposes.
Provide site sketches and detailed shop drawings for concrete & steel structures using AutoCAD.
Coordination with architectural design and MEP services to provide site with clash free technical support
Check the strength of various materials as concrete, steel, and bricks through certificates & testing reports provided by suppliers to monitor if their inclusion requires any structural design change or not.
Working with geotechnical engineers to investigate ground conditions, check results of soil samples and pile testing.
Preparing engineering look ahead reports/presentations to track planning charts using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint(MS office).
Liaising with relevant professional specialists as HILTI & OTIS for technical advice.
Monitoring and inspecting construction works undertaken by Sub-Contractors.
Participating in technical meetings for coordination with municipality to obtain approvals from local authorities.
