• Ensure day to day activities of Final Inspection & Stage inspection including paperwork & NDT are
complete and in line with business requirements.
• Ad hoc inspection of products according to quality, safety & company standards.
• Reporting quality anomalies to the team leader of respective section.
• Site receipt including report for returned products, including photographic evidence, recommend any
additional work required to investigate fault.
• Liaise with 3rd party inspectors at Buckingham for Final Inspection requirements - reports any possible
issues with Buckingham Team Leader.
• Liaising with MRB team to ensure all documents and photos are in line with specifications and
requirements.
• Liaising with the Head of Quality to ensure manufacturing meets specifications for continued
compliance.
• Ensure all work is accomplished using appropriate data, tools, and measuring equipment and follows
established procedures.
• Raise internal NCRs as identified.
• Drive Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to achieve cost, quality, and delivery
objectives.
• Work with the team to achieve business objectives.
• Aware of and conforms to company ISO goals and objectives and supports company ISO requirements

• Assembly of research and development products and flight hardware
• Testing of future products and flight hardware including functional testing/electrical
testing/vibration/shock/TVAC/RF testing
• Development and write up of Manufacturing Assembly Procedures (MAPs) and Test
Procedures
• Carry out Detailed inspections of Machined Parts using in house metrology
equipment.
• Work closely with the Product Assurance team to define and write up qualified MAIT
processes when required
• Identify and propose business improvements and if approved support the
implementation
• Support customer/internal reviews
• Visit sub-contractors/suppliers when required

• Assembly of medical devices - Blood pumps, life support equipment

• Using industrial power tools adhering to the Health & Safety guidelines
