Major responsibilities include: • Arrange disbursements for services and supplies received
• Monitor preparation of payroll and reimbursement for contractual staff
• Managing preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual payables and looking after payables management system.
• To ensure close compliance with budgetary allocations and preparation of budgetary estimates for the whole northern territory
• To effectively exercise strict budgetary control and conduct variance analysis and other exception reports.
• Preparation of consolidated management, accounting and tax reports for northern region.
• Maintain Income Tax, GST, Excise Duty and other withholding tax accounts
• Arrange payment and monthly reporting of all types of taxes.
• Dealing with government and various regulatory authorities namely CAA, Income Tax Department etc.,
• Correspondence on various financial / accounting matters and control aspects with other departments/sections at station and Corporate Office.
• Oversee maintenance of official record
