commissioning, start-up of the Plants.

Responsibilities at Wanakbori TPS:
• Preventive, Breakdown / Shut down maintenance of Instrumentation and Control System (Keltron - 9020,
Baily France and ILK - Transdata) for Boiler(700T/hr) and Turbines (210 MW LMW)
• Calibration of Transmitters, Pressure Switches, Valve Positioners etc.
• Inventory Management of Control & Instruments Spare Parts in Departmental Store.
• Preparing of purchase requisitions for Control & Instruments Spare Parts as per requirement.
• Preparing Calibration reports & Documentation as per ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 14001: 2004 procedures.

ENGINEERING SKILLS
• Engineering Documents: Preparation & Review of engineering documents like-Design Basis & Philosophy,
Control system configuration diagram, Control Room Layout Drawing, Instrument Index, Instrument List, I/O
List, Control Narrative, Instrument specification sheet, Instrument installation Diagram, Instrument Location
Diagram, Cable Principle Diagram, Terminals Block diagrams & Interconnection wiring diagrams, Loop & Logic
diagrams, Cable Schedule, Datasheets & MTO for all Instrumentation equipments, etc.
• Automation System: Preparation & Review of DCS/PLC Specification, DCS Graphic displays, P & ID review,
Review of Drawings and Documents by DCS supplier, Scope of work & Supply division between packages, 3rd
Party Communication between DCS & PLC, Conducting DCS FAT at DCS Manufacturer Factory.
• Selection & Sizing of various Instruments: Selection of Field instruments, control valve sizing, flow element
selection and sizing using Software (Conval 7.0, Instrucalc 5.1, Flowel).
• Other Technical Skills: Vendor Print Review (i.e. Vendor Drawing/Document Review), Interdisciplinary
coordination and review, Technical review meetings with Vendors, Clients & Subcontractors, Support to
Procurement Team/ Technical Bid Evaluation(TBE), Support to Construction team & attending Site
Engineering Request (SER) & Revising Engineering deliverables in accordance with SER, Participation in
HAZOP workshop and Technical Audits

• Validation of ESD I/O List and DCS I/O List with existing P&IDs.
• Participating in HAZOP workshops and updating P&IDs based on 3rd
Party/ Client’s in-house SIL and
HAZOP Recommendation.
• Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI/Intools).
• Attending Technical discussion and Comment resolution meeting with clients and approval of engineering
deliverables from Client.
• Working knowledge of client standards and International standards like ISA, IEC, Shell DEP, SABIC, etc.
• Man Hours estimation for engineering proposals.
• Guiding junior colleagues for preparing engineering deliverables.
• Participating in departmental Quality and Technical Audits.
