The work I was involved in was of a student counsellor, where I had to deal with students with various issues ranging from accademic issues, financial issues, adjustment problems, relationship issues, family dispute, HIV/AIDS, Schizophrenia, issues related to sexulaity and reproductive health and so on. Moreover, workshops and seminars were also conducted by me during the tenure along with taking classes for few of the programmes in the institute. Outreach activities along with voluntary support to administrative work was also a part of my job profile.
I have completed my high schooling and Higher Secondary from St. Anthony's Higher Secondary School, Don Bosco, Shillong, India with first class marks on both occassions. My dergree was completed from Assam Agricultural University, College of Home Science, Jorhat, Assam, India with specialization in Chid Development and Family Relations with first class marks. And I have completed my master's degree from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Guwahati, India where I was the Silver Medalist of the batch (2013-15), Best Field Worker and Best Student from MA in Social Work in Counselling. Moreover, as part of my education backgroud, I have done internships, field works and voluntary works in various organizations working in various sectors across the country.
