Focusing on sustaining & strengthening employee-related aspects of HR challenges at Airoli site. Co-owning HR
interventions with specialist teams (Centre of Excellence) on formulating customized strategies & frameworks
towards smooth HR Service delivery & partner with the HRBPs & their teams in ensuring consistent employee
engagement. Ensuring acquisition and development of a superior workforce by building a strong team that
understands business needs, empanelling competent agencies and introducing the use of online portals. Fostering a
conducive working environment through various touch points / communication channels to ensure high engagement
levels. Identifying and representing employee concerns in the right forums. Coaching leaders and empowering them
to partner and drive HR initiatives. Ensuring compliance with government employment regulations and relevant
legislation. Actively contributing to the evaluation and development of HR strategy, policies and processes. Spear-
heading employee engagement and CSR initiatives across Mumbai sites.
High impact experiences
1. Currently assigned the dual interim responsibility of HRBP for Maersk Line Operations. Working on certain
key deliverables such as working with the project team for setting up the first Dangerous cargo team in
China; Creating a robust talent pipeline by facilitating the 9 box discussions for managers and creating a job
rotation framework for team members; Creating an impactful communication plan to create recall of various
initiatives done through the year
2. Was part of the core team that successfully delivered HR transformation (80/20) for India sites
3. Integrating Mumbai as 1 site despite 2 physical locations by working closely with the site leadership team
and the HR teams. Led both Mumbai sites (Powai and Airoli) for over a year
4. Nominated to be part of the core planning committee for the GSC Annual Leadership Conference 4 years in
a row
5. Won the best HR team award 2015 at the GSC Annual Leadership Conference for Project Trident. This was a
specialized task force which came together for delivering very high and specialized recruitment targets
within stringent timelines for Pune site.
6. Won the quarterly best team award for successfully launching “R&R Reloaded”, a revised R&R framework
which was highly appreciated by employees across the GSCs. As part of this initiative employee feedback and
market best practices were sought and incorporated. These changes were introduced through a well thought
through communication plan which included print and online medium and employee floorwalks and
connects.
