Surveying, Planning and designing of projects for Optical Fiber Cables laying
underground and aerial for corporate customers, Intra and inter Cities.
ODN designing for Fiber to the Home (FTTH).
Coordination with vendors for surveying, planning, installation, commissioning and
testing of Hybrid MSAGs.
Coordination with vendors for surveying, planning, installation, commissioning and
testing of Solar Power Systems.
IP & MULTIMEDIA BROADBAND SYSTEMS)
Responsibilities:
Projects Management of IP& Multimedia Broadband Systems (i.e. DSLAMs of
Huawei/ZTE/APL, ONUs, MSAGs, MSAN, BRAS; METRO ETHERNET )
Site Survey & Planning, Network Design for new systems, up-gradation as well as
services provisioning in coordination with vendors and PTCL Departments
Project Implementation as per contractual obligation of PTCL and vendors.
Media Planning, commissioning and end-to-end verification of (IP/ VLAN Plans,
Pin2port Plans and addition of site on OSS/BNCC/NMS).
Planning, Connectivity and Commissioning of Power of equipment
Preparation of Estimates/Progress reports.
Hands-on experience on SAP R/3 -Project System Module (PR, GRN and SAN
Creation etc.)
Provide back-end support for monitoring of IP & Multimedia Broadband Network
Elements including BRAS, OFS and DSLAM Operation teams and Admin tasks for
Regional office
Dealing of Staff, finance and Local Procurement related matters: transfer/posting,
recruitment, Leave Management/ Medical / pay roll record, Welfare, General
Administration, HR Budget preparation and building preparing works
Under Ground Cable Network Management (i.e. Localization and Rectification of faults,
Replacement and laying of Under Ground Cable, Drawing route diagrams, DXX and DSL
line testing and maintenance, Staff motivation, Public Dealing, Administration and
Management, PTCL Landline and phone Marketing
