Project Summary:
The project aims to developing wind farm model with and without wake effect in Script and Simulink model. In this project different author's test result was analyzed and final mathematical relation obtained for wind farm model. Based on this mathematical relation mathematical Simulink model and coding for wind farm model were developed. The developed wind farm model was tested in different wind speed rating in sequential and non-sequential order and result were obtained. The result of this project is used to installation of wind farm in practical condition in different areas.

Responsibilities

2. Project Name Inverter fed induction motor

Project Summary:
The project aimed at creating a dynamic model for inverter to control the induction motor's speed for industrial application. Variable frequency and variable voltage, flux control, current control these methods are used to control the induction motor's speed. In our variable frequency method is used for induction motor speed control. In this method duty cycle of inverter gate pulse were controlled which is used to control the induction motor's speed. Simulation result and data are provided to hardware team for hardware development.

3. Project Name Small area distributed micro grid network

Project Summary:
The project aimed at creating a dynamic model for small area distributed micro grid network and analyses the result and operation of the grid in different load and generation conditions. Micro grid is an electrical network which is having small generation unit, small distribution unit and small loads. In normal condition this network utilizes the electric power from main grid. In case of main grid failure main grid can't feed the power to the load at this time small generation unit will feed the electric power to the loads. this process need continuous monitoring and control, for this work we need an control unit. The mathematical model of this project is developed in MATLAB and operation has verified.
