a) Body preparation section (Dry Process) :
• Involved in erection and commissioning of body preparation section
• Ensures smooth and trouble free operation of body preparation section.
• responsible for the body preparation functions, which include machines, operation and maintenance,
• raw material request, raw materials storage & raw material inventory control,
• Follow-up of laboratory advice on body composition for existing/ new products and quality parameters.
• Maintain records on the consumption of materials, body cost, manpower, production and related activities.
• Follow-up of electricity consumption during summer for saving energy cost on body.
b)Lab/Quality control section :
• Raw materials inspection: (Sizes, M.C, color, CaCO3, etc.).
• Monitoring of Input and Output In Processes.
• Body composition/Caliber control of our tiles in conjunction with the Quality Control Manager.
• Minimize Customers' Complaint on Finished Goods, Improve on 1st grade recovery and Reduce Rejection in conjunction with QC Manager.
• Making Technical specification sheet for new design and hand over to Glaze preparation department.
• Developing new composition and new vendor materials testing for reducing cost. etc
C)Kiln, Polishing & Sorting sections :
• Ensures smooth and trouble free operation of kiln, polishing and sorting line, and ensures output is good quality.
• Monitor and raise the request of kiln spares, polishing & squaring tools, and packing material, ensures not to get shortage in production.
• Submits daily production report to SFM & FG transfer report to warehouse. Work with service depts. for reducing down time and increasing quality.
• Relieving colleagues of Glaze preparation, BPS and press section during vacation.etc.
