My current responsibility is to cater for our customer (B2B & B2C) requirements by optimizing stock availability for
all sales channels (Retail, Distribution, Projects & FM), to facilitate interdepartmental alignment with Brand/Cat.,
Commercial, Marketing & Finance with Supply Chain operations and support sales growth by enabling the
commercial team to be able to fulfill all selling opportunities whilst ensuring profitable inventory management.
• Central point of contact between Supply Chain Function for Planning, Inventory management and Supply chain
Finances.
• Develop sustainable strategies to manage the inventory within the agreed DIO targets.
• Ensuring any agreed special project targets are met on time.
• Ensuring all promotions and introduction of new products are planned effectively.
• Ensuring slow moving items are reduced to a minimum in all retail branches.
• Manage any stock shortage ensuring appropriate action is taken to resolve with minimum cost and maximum
attention to customer service.
• Being a supply chain Innovator by keenly following the Supply chain needs and reconfiguring the SCM operations
as required.
• Being an active contributing member for Supply Chain Projects.
• Fostering a work culture that is built on the foundations of our organizational core values.
• Including the below Material Planner responsibilities
Responsible for managing and analysis of data for inventory/sales forecasting, demand & supply planning for
10, 000+ active SKU’s and inventory value of AED 20mil. along with below responsibilities.
FORECASTING & DEMAND PLANNING
• Plan, forecast and release of purchasing orders to ensure targeted product availability at optimum inventory
levels.
• Responsible for Forecasting and Reordering for approx. AED 6mil monthly.
• Coordinating with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for Demand Planning.
• Ensuring Sales Forecast Analysis kept as per target Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
• Sourcing from local and international suppliers (Ariston, Grohe, Pegler, Milwaukee, GF, Hepworth Etc.) to fulfil
orders and stock replenishment. Lead time ranging from 1 week to 18 weeks. (UK, Italy, Belgium, China, Turkey,
India etc.)
SUPPLY PLANNING & INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
• Responsible for Inventory management of all Warehouses (7 branches & 1 Distribution Centre).
• Analyzing and optimizing product classification for better inventory management.
• Inventory replenishment plan based on product classification and DIO.
• Responsible for supply and inventory planning for all retail branches.
• Ensuring slow moving items are reduced to a minimum in all retail branches.
• Managing any stock shortages if any ensuring appropriate action is taken to resolve with minimum cost and
maximum attention to the customer.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Managing and following up with sales for open customer orders until goods are delivered.
• Responsible for managing and submitting all reports for inventory counts (Cycle and Annual) in conjunction
with Finance, Sales & Warehouse team.
• Replace and support Procurement team.
Currently responsible for Management of Material Resource Planning along with Finished Goods, Semi Finished Warehouse, Packaging Warehouse, Raw Materials Warehouse & Waste Controlling. Explained in detail below;
Responsible for Planning of shipment from source as per the safety stock, lead time and Pipelines etc., & other requirement of MRP and give final decision to Release Purchase Requisitions & Orders to suppliers for all Raw Materials.
Manages to provide support to production according to the scheduling on all material flow issues to meet production needs (Raw materials, Packaging Materials and Plain Bottles for Decoration).
Responsible for all Finished Goods Dispatch planning, coordination and delivery as per the customers requirement along with coordination with transporters for delivery.
Responsible for accuracy of inventory counts by implementing and managing, in conjunction with Finance, an inventory control system, capable of identifying discrepancies in inventory counts and taking corrective action to guard against inconsistencies in the future.
Establishing and Managing production scheduling activities by monitoring material inventories, tracking progress of production and reviewing factors that affect schedules.
Performs analysis of sales forecasts, historical material & optimum control level usage for Material Planning.
Developed, implemented and managing inventory control procedures.
Establishing, implementing and Managing new methods and best practices related to the systems and process that support for inventory forecasting, purchasing and material control.
Coordinate with cross-functional business teams to develop the best economic strategy for Material Planning.
Achieving financial objectives by working with management group to prepare the materials budget, schedule expenditures, analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
Participating as a member of the operations team in making cross-functional operational decisions.
Researching and reporting on cost effective plans to minimize production/ Material losses.
Backing up MRP Planner and Purchasing Officers during vacation.
Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by implementing, maintaining and aligning company policies that adhere to local, state and federal environmental, health and safety regulations.
Was responsible for Managing Production Support Dept. along with all the responsibilities mentioned below:
PLANNING & INVENTORY CONTROL:
• Giving all delivery schedules as per the storage capacity, stock level & Inventory Value for Packaging materials & Raw materials
• Responsible for making ready all necessary materials required for production as per schedule on daily basis.
• Coordinating & planning the production and all its Materials and manpower requirement to not affect the production.
• Making PR for all materials required for production & other operations.
• Preparing Yearly Budgets for all packaging, Raw materials & others consumable materials.
• Coordinating the quarterly inventory team for an efficient and accurate inventory of packaging, Raw Materials & Semi Finished Goods stock.
• Preparing and handling all cost saving projects for all materials being wasted and consumed during cold end operations.
• Preparation of all reports, analysis & presentation required for the above as per daily, weekly, monthly & yearly requirement to accounts, sales & purchase departments.
• Coordinating & planning with Sales & QC for all packaging specification to final customer as well as in house WIP packing.
• Responsible for all Packaging Materials & WIP stock (AVG of 40mil Bottle - Warehousing)
• Responsible for all Logistic operations within the Plant with internal logistics team (Inventory controller & 11 Forklift operators) - Performing Offloading & Loading deliveries, supplying bottles for Decorating, transferring pallets in & out of warehouse etc.
PRODUCTION:
• Monitoring & optimizing the production efficiency with effective decision making and control over defects at the Hot End.
• Monitoring the cold end operation’s team (Cold End Supervisors, Lehr End inspector & visual inspectors), to regularly inspect the bottles at Lehr end and the inspection machinery to reject defects from passing by regularly testing them.
• Responsible for efficiently packaging all production to make sure they safely reach the customer and avoid any customer complains.
• Handling & planning any resorting/ repacking team during colour change or any other requirement of such.
• Maintaining Database of all productions & downtimes at cold for incentive & Head Office report submission.
• Directly reporting to the Production manager & Plant Manager.

• Design logical and physical databases and review change to database design to understand how changes to be made affect physical database.
• Communicate and work with managerial, administrative, and technical staff to determine information needs, data flows, and system definitions and document these requirements;

• Defines and specifies user access levels
