o Leading the team of more than 35 and more than 20, 000 Sq. Ft Store Which contains 6 Department managers 30 sales associates, Housekeeping Staffs and Security Staffs
o Managing the whole floor to ensure smooth functioning of work and ensure that people work as a team with good interpersonal relationship
o Pre-opening procedure-opens store in the morning and closing the store as per closing procedure
o Handling the upkeep of the shop floor, stock room, bins, fixtures, till points
o Setting high standards of integrity and quality and efficiency of work by examples
o Planning ways to prevent shrinkage and shoplifting, report stock discrepancies involved to the Manager-operation and follow all stock check schedules
o Sales promotion and to planning different strategies to make the promotion a successful one
• Carried out the detailed Floor inspection which determine fast moving and slow moving SKU, adherence to the planogram & shelf ticketing policies and to ensure that all promotional plans are up in time
• Delivered product & customer service and till training to new sales associates
• Accountable for ascertaining commercial environment, local trading patterns, competitor activity and market trends in the retail sector and their impact in store
• Resolving customer complaints in line with company policy as well as staff grievances
• Proven track record of ensuring:
o Regularly staff meetings are carrying out to communicate business goals and training delivered
o That job rotation is implemented in the giving each staff member an opportunity to move to different section
o Seasonal peaks, important trading/promotional events were taken into account during the preparation of forecasts and staff rosters
• Maintaining high standards of visual appearance throughout the store including all non-retail areas
• Driving efforts towards assuring window & in-store displays to a high standard in line with merchandising guidelines
• Carrying out the analysis on slow moving, fast moving and non-moving items
• Looking after the sales performance against last year, last week and budget on a daily and weekly basis and to give feedback to managers and also to communicate to staff
