UDS Plugin
This is a loosely coupled architecture between Redknee TCB Billing System and Charging system acquired from NSN.
Redknee’s Unified DS Plug-in is an end-to-end billing and revenue management solution that allows network operators to manage all subscriber and service revenues through one unified platform. Redknee’s Unified LC is a suite of pre-integrated, best-of-breed BSS modules. It includes everything a new or high-growth operator needs from a billing platform- from service activation and provisioning, to real time rating, billing, invoicing, partner management and customer care. And with Unified LC open, modular architecture, the solution easily incorporates with existing network components.
The objective is to target Tier2 telecomm operators with it having a customer base of 10 -15 Million Subscriber.
Activities included:
Responsible for product delivery management.
Coordinated the work efforts of 8 person team for various projects. Helped team complete tasks successfully and on-time and resolved obstacles encountered by team members.
Coordinated and participated in weekly estimation meetings to provide high-level estimates (Story Points) for backlog items.
Creating and assigning user stories to Scrum team after finalizing Sprint backlog item
Educate the scrum team and product owner on the Scrum/Agile processes.
Ensure that team is following the scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily scrum, backlog grooming, etc.
Help the team to remove the impediments, such as resource availability, server issues, etc.
Measure the team velocity each sprint and find ways to improve it.
Protect the scrum team from external obstructions and be a single point of contact for any changes/requirements.

NGRC (Next generation rating and charging)
Data monitors and controls wireless subscriber data sessions. It interfaces with the GGSN (in a GPRS network) or PDSN (in a CDMA network) to provide capabilities such as Session Management, Quota Distribution, Real-time Rating and Charging, Protocol translation and integration as required with other service and support nodes (e.g. SCP, SMSC, WAP Gateway, Network Optimizer).
The NGRC identifies a new subscriber session by an incoming session control message (i.e. Service Request) from the GGSN/PDSN. On the receipt of this initial Service Request, the URCS obtains the subscriber's rating information from the connection parameters within the message and from a subscriber profile database. In the event that the subscriber trying to activate the PDP Context is not permitted wireless data access (e.g. a prepaid roaming subscriber has zero or below minimum balance) an unsuccessful response is returned to the GGSN/PDSN and the PDP Context activation request is denied.

Investar*ONE is a product for mutual funds transfer agencies mainly targeting the US markets. This is a record keeping system of almost all the entities involved in mutual funds functioning and their relationships. This is unique product that is used by big mutual fund companies in USA. Old VC++ and IBM DB2 product is now converted to Java/J2ee platform with Oracle 10g as database. Here we are using nexaweb framework for front-end (GUI) and struts framework.

Inspection, Claim and Commission
There are basically three entities involved in the ICC (Inspection, Claims and commission) module: office, client and supplier. ICC is classified to be under office functions as part of the B2B portal.
Inspection enables an office user to schedule and perform an inspection for his authorized lots.
Claim enables them to detect faults, negotiate the costs and so on.
Commission enables the commission and finance users to work on the commissions.
The server side components are developed in EJB 2.1 (CMP) and deployed on Weblogic 9.1. The GUI has been developed using ULC (Ultra Light Client) 6.0.4. The development environment includes JBuilder9, Ec! lipse 3.1.
The build process was done using ANT.
Mu! ltiple user login is supported. Each user is allowed to work only on the set of data that is authorized to work on as per authorizations defined in LDAP.
Logging was done using log4j.
Session façade, DTO and DAO has been followed for the server side with MVC architecture on the client side.
Asynchronous messaging has been achieved using JMS and MDB, with the help of Progress SonicMQ.
