• Assist the customer with all the activities related to the container shipping starting from Rate request to the end process of delivering the container at the port ready for shipment and collection of bill of lading
• Contact the various mainline container vessel operators and negotiate the best possible rates on behalf of the customer (shipper)
• Prepare the required documentation that is to be submitted to the concerned authorities on behalf of the shipper
• To handle the required import and export documentation and hand over the same to the customer (shipper) in the shortest time possible
• To achieve the set sales target

• To handle customer query, interact with the shipper and their agents and provide adequate support as required by them
• Closely monitor outstanding customers’ account via regular phone calls, frequent communications with internal accounts team team, commence dunning procedures via reminder letters and visits to discuss receivables with Customers
• Maintain a close and effective partnering relationship with external Customer and internal operational key persons, making best attempt to always arrive at the most effective solution for all parties within a reasonable timeframe.
