• Overseeing contracts for diverse services in the organization such as 3PL services across all Tata Steel India locations, warehouse hiring and its operations, downstream processing, ferro alloy conversion, and transportation/logistics services.
• Procurement of drawing-based mechanical spares to support operations and maintenance department.
• Handling the entire material procurement and service contracting lifecycle including needs identification, market research, category strategy formulation, RFQ/RFP issuance, supplier proposal evaluation, negotiation, order placement, and contract management.
- Managing end to end vendor development process, from
initial vendor search to the vendor's technical and financial due
diligence, onboarding, trial order placement and performance
evaluation.
- Driving "Supplier Relationship Management" program with
strategic suppliers and internal stakeholders to develop and
maintain strong business relationship to identify and drive
various improvement projects to improve productivity and
reduce cost.
• Planning, organizing and coordination of day-to-day operations of the machine shop to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitoring of machine performance, production output, and quality control process to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
• Executed equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality
• Managed emergency response and breakdowns efficiently to minimize downtime
• Coordinated maintenance planning and schedules for timely execution
• Oversaw spares and inventory management to maintain adequate stock levels

• Oversaw windmill operation including addressing routine breakdowns and monitoring of all machines at the central monitoring system.

• Devised and executed maintenance plans, preventive maintenance schedules, and repair procedures to optimize uptime and reliability of wind turbines.
