Ensure smooth running of the factory
Liaise and negotiate with Suppliers for all factory requirements
Responsible for Stores, accuracy in Bin card records and maintaining appropriate stock levels
Responsible for Health and Safety matters for the factory premises and all manpower including liaison with the relevant government departments to ensure compliance
Ensure QA/QC procedures are followed and correct records are maintained as per ISO9001:2008 procedures
Implement and track preventive maintenance programme for all Plant machinery/factory vehicles/generators/assets including calibration of testing equipment’s
Monitor and minimise wastage and improve production methods
Establish a Safe and Clean environment as possible

• Preparation of production schedules in line with Client requirement
• Review of all Quality documents
• Review of shop drawings
• Review of Fabrication methodology and sequencing
• Inspection of Raw Materials, Fabrication, Welding, Blasting and Painting activities
• Monitor of Work Flow
• Attend to Client meetings
• Managing Subcontractors and plant and equipments.
• Implement and maintain all HSE requirements

• Daily updation of progress and reporting to H.O at Houston, Texas, USA
• Arranging for the delivery of completed unit to the clients at various part of the world
• Review and approval of Invoices submitted by the SubContractors for payment

Reporting to the Divisional Manager/ Senior Vice President, responsible, both directly and through site supervisory and other support staff for the timely Fabrication and Erection of assigned Structural Steel Projects in accordance with Contract Specifications, Time and Cost parameters.
Other duties include planning & scheduling work, approving variation orders, monitoring costs against budgets and contract administration

• Handling directly, the client interface for all the Projects.
• Preparing Project Quality Plan and Inspection Procedure & Categorization Plan as per QA&I deliverables.
• Monitoring project activities & coordinating with various agencies to maintain targeted schedules.
• Implementing QMS across all projects; preparing project procedures and ITP.
• Ensuring that all the site activities are in accordance to the latest revision of drawings & procedures.Identifying the non-conformances, addressing them in the Non-conformance Report (NCR) and resolving them through preventive actions; maintaining the NCR log book and following up to close NCRs.

Monitoring & controlling various projects of the division with respect to physical progress, time, contract and quality compliance, ensure execution of projects within the set time as well as cost parameters, handling all the HR issues within the division and reporting to the Division Manager and top management on all aspects of the status on a daily basis.

• Co-ordinated the Steel Division of the company of more than 100 workers and supevisors.
• Handled jobs on site involving structural steel/Stainless steel
• Achieving project target set by meticulously planning men, material and machines
• Compliance with safety and Quality objectives of the company and ensuring job profitability

• Erection and commissioning of powder coating plant in coordination with the plant suppier from UK(ERCON)

 Preparing Production Schedule; Issuing items from stores by studying the drawings
 In charge of all the structural fabrication activities involving channels, beams, angles, sheets, plates, rods and pipes for the making of furnace casings, reinforcements, elevators, charge trolleys, storage tanks, exhaust hoods, ladders, stands, sprayers
 In charge of
− gas piping used for creating carburizing and purging atmosphere inside the heating chamber
− water piping used for cooling the heating chamber fan assembly and for sprayers inside the washing machine
− oil piping used for cooling the inner walls of the front chamber
 Testing of sub-assemblies such as door lifting, elevator lifting, charge feed mechanism, heating chamber and front chamber fan assemblies etc.

 Stage and final inspection of WeighBridge Platforms, Hoppers, Silos, Screw feeders, Panels
 Dimensional inspection of all Incoming machined parts & Boughtout materials
 Hardness testing on heat treated componants
 Implementing ISO 9001 in the Mechanical Q.C department
 Conducting inspection, pre-commissioning and functional testing & commissioning of plant equipments.
