• Be responsible for automation of tier 1 Operations and Maintenance of network infrastructure
• Drive scaling of current network designs to meet the demand of our customers.
• Create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.
• Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from
concept to production.
• Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these
standards.
• Create and implement changes on the network. Automate workflow and execution of deployments
on a global scale
• Act as a technical escalation point and provides Level 3 support for network related issues and
requests
• Actively monitors the network health across all sites and identifies and proposes solutions to
potential problems/issues before they happen
• Leverages existing and emerging technologies to develop solutions to improve the performance of
the overall Network infrastructure
• Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance
tuning, troubleshooting network problems, escalating problems to vendor
• Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different
requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments Responsibilities
• Provides technical guidance to Members, and identifies opportunities to sell Member IT Services that
generate revenue for our client
• Onsite installation, configuration and testing of network infrastructure equipment for new site
openings and site expansions; configuring and testing normal operations and failover situations
• Protects organization's value by keeping network-related information confidential
• Performs network upgrades and refreshes by conferring with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating
• Worked with Alstom T&D India Ltd, Noida as a SCADA Engineer in NMS department from April 1, 2014.
• Worked as integrator on SRULDC-II Upgradation of SCADA/EMS of KSEB in Southern Region project.
• Worked on Database for creation of Substation topology, Single line diagram and Site overview displays of Kerala, Tamilnadu, Andhra Pradesh, SRLDC.
• Integration of DCPC to Control Center. Conducted the SAT for hardware equipments, software deliverables, SCADA functions, DCPC functions, performance test and third party softwares.
• Knowledge on commissioning and integration at site for Control Center and DCPC. To perform the End to End testing with Field and existing GE system along with customer.
• Responsible for all technical deliverables and point of contact with customer for technical discussions/proposals.
• Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created.
• Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.
• Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted constituencies.
• Apply software patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
• Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
I was associated with the mangement of a project on Unified Communications within the company.I was working with the IT-Security team.
