Designation: Planning Engineer in Shutdown project.
Project’s worked on:
1. Laffan Refinery, Raslaffan
(Laffan Refinery Turnaround)
• Worked as a Planning Engineer for “Laffan Refinery” Gas Plant Subcontracted to Descon Engineering.
Scope of project was annual Turnaround Maintenance of Static Equipment.
2. Qatar gas, Raslaffan
(Train 7 & 1 Shutdown Turnaround)
• Worked as a Planning Engineer for “Laffan Refinery” Gas Plant Subcontracted to Descon Engineering.
Scope of project was annual Turnaround Maintenance of Static Equipment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop execution plan for Plant Turnaround Maintenance according to the Plant history, Scope of Work, and Inspection Work List.
• Preparation of completed area wise schedule along with the resources like equipment and manpower to expedite the job.
• Preparation of daily progress report & S-Curve for turnaround and examining the effect of progress against the base line schedule.
• Preparation of method statements, job packs for individual equipment and participate in TRA (Task Risk Assessment) meetings for critical jobs.
• Calculation of all required resources to complete the job within planned budget.
• Closely monitor and analyze major shutdown activities status on a daily basis, and emphasizing to schedule/execute critical work on priority which could have impact on timely completion of shutdown.
• Assist Project Manager, maintenance Team Leader and supervisors/foremen on different critical issues as per requirement.
• Overall control of documents & drawings of the respective Discipline In charge.
• Provides expert advice to Discipline In charge from Planning and Monitoring point of view.
• Generate site related Technical queries to client as per the site requirement through Engineering Department.
• Monitor progress to ensure that the project is progressing as planned and the targets would be met. To rise flags if the targets are likely to slip. At every stage would apprise I/C Planning of the latest progress trends.
• Close coordination with all job supervisors/foremen.
• Participate in promotion of HSE awareness as member of HSE group.
• Planning of daily and one day forecast activities and arranging the permit for forecast activates following the permit to work system of company.
• Direct dealing with Client and Sub-Contractors for the queries and technical issues to avoid any delays in the project and sorting out solutions to expedite the job within the scheduled time.
• Preparation of the Close out reports, Lesson learned and Recommendation reports.

• Currently Working For Projects: Alcoa (Maden Rolling Mill, Samsung Smelter port Facility, Cast House)
Construction Project, Sabic Saudi Kayan, Sipchem, -- Maintenance Project.
• Preparation& Tracking of the project master schedule and summary level curves and Man power histogram.
• Identification, monitoring& streamlining of critical paths running through the Project Master Schedule and individual contracts.
• Weekly/Monthly reports generation including ‘S’-curves for client & Management review.
Job allocation to all Discipline Engineers and follow up for daily job progress.
• Cost control by Optimization of Resources utilization.
• Understanding project work scope, needs and deliverables, contract milestones, Estimating budget quantities, costs, durations and resources.
• Aligning Project work scope with company structured WBS (Work Breakdown Structure).
Coordinating with subcontractors.
• Preparation of MONTHLY/WEEKLY production schedules, Customer delivery schedule, Resource allocation schedule.
• Holding Weekly/Daily production meetings, Inventory monitoring meetings, addressing short falls, cycle time overages, resolving production requirements& Risk analysis & management.
Preparation, Review & Publishing of MIS & Monthly/Weekly/Daily reports on Operational activities.
• To Coordinate Between Vendor And Operating Company For day to day Installation and Maintenance Activities.
• To Plan the Installation Activities and complete the target within set period of time.
• To Report Daily Installation of sites and to Push the vendors to achieve the set target
• Maintain proper Coordination with logistic for smooth functioning.
• To forecast and plan aircraft maintenance tasks/checks and prepare/review work packages for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance considering optimum utilization of available resources and cost effective.
• Arrange spares required for the maintenance activities for planned and schedule checks.
• Handel AOG situations on priority bases to ensure smooth functioning of maintenance activities.
• Good knowledge of IPC (illustrated park catalog), to help Ames’s with part no. of particular spares in IPC.
• To ensure on time delivery of spares for smooth functioning of maintenance activities.
• To establish well coordination between various dept. like stores, maintrol, AOG desk, defect cell, line maintenance.
Work Area: LINE MAINTENANCE
• Assisted in Carrying out minor snag rectification, Removal and installation of cockpit and cabin speakers, headsets, Removal and installation of GCU, batteries, circuit breakers, main batteries.
• Removal and installation of coffee makers, ceiling panels, ovens, Adjustment and test of Engine & APU fire detection and warning system (Aural).
• Removal and Installation of fuel quantity indicator, Taking fuel dip reading, , Removal and installation of Hydraulic qty indicator.
• Removal and installation of cockpit lights, cabin Lights, emergency Exit lights, power packs.
• Removal and installation of NLG light assembly.
• Removal and installation of crew oxygen bottle. Charging hydraulics and oil for CSD and IDG.
• Looking after the projects and accomplish the day to day target of completion of BTS sites and performing acceptance test and handing over the sites to Airtel, (Worked as a Project engineering from 01 Apr, 2003 to 10 Feb, 2004).
• BTS Installation & Commissioning Installation & Alignment on a TATA PROJECT (Worked as a Project Engineer from 10th Feb, 2002 to 30 Mar, 2003).
• BTS Installation & Commissioning as a Motorola project, Microwave Installation & Alignment for Reliance CDMA Project, (Worked as a Project Engineer from 24th Aug, 2000 to 10 Feb, 2002.)
Passed Successfully Diploma in Industrial Electronics. From Mumbai board with 68.86 % from TERNA POLYTECNIC NAVI MUMBAI . Made a project on Security Lock system
