• Developed and led the Network Design and Deployment Strategy for EV Charging Infrastructure in Australia and successfully delivered major projects in various geographical locations.
• Completed 83 High Power Fast DC Chargers (350kW, 184kW & 150 kW) and concluded detailed designs for 90+ sites across 3 states in Australia to clock highest Market share in the industry.
• Developed new design layouts, destination charging prototypes, technical assessments, Assurance and Control documents for effective project management and deliver the program at scale.
• Leading the Truck charging, Mega-watt charging for Buses and various design archetypes for B2b customers in Fleet, Shopping Centres, Logistics and delivery companies, Hospitals and Tourist Destination models across Australia.
• Successfully established relationships with Charger Management Software, Mobile Application Developing Team, Suppliers, Contractors, EPCM/Project Management companies, OEMs, QSR Tenants, Landlords to clear the hurdles and accelerate the deployment program in the country.

• Collaborated with CMS, MSP, Technical, Procurement, Real Estate, HSSE and business stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of the projects with minimal unforeseen outages to the fuel stations and minimise cost overrun of the projects.
• Led special features of EV Charging like Smart charging, Dynamic load balancing and fault coordination studies.
• Integrated Solar, EV, Battery in tandem such that the offtake from the grid is minimised and overall cost of energy is optimised for the given use case at fuel stations while ensuring Green Electricity availability to customers.
• Demonstrated the safety in design, designs catering to enhance customer experience and design to minimise the TCO (Total cost of Ownership), develop various archetypes to slice and scale the program to achieve better KPIs.
• Led the procurement strategy and technical insights on new EV Charger Manufacturers, Switchboard Designers, Inverters etc., to de-risk the program and ensure a sustainable supply chain for the massive EV Charger program.
• Successfully liaised with the Government funding, external and statutory agencies investment appraisals, Capital Efficiency and continuous improvement cycles to efficiently source and deploy the capital for EVC projects.

National EV Charger Deployment Lead + Design and Standards Manager - Engineering at Shell

• Core member of country EV Strategy team. Developed and deployed EV strategy and created a road map for deployment
of EV Charging infrastructure to become the highest charge point operator with 10, 000+ charge points across the
country. Actively engaged with Global Engineering, Contracts & Procurement Team, Finance and various cross
functional teams from strategy till execution.
• Deployed on the go 350 Charge+ points and developed pipeline projects of 2500 charge points/ year to target various
customer segments in 2W, 3W and 4 Wheelers.
• Developed country specific designs and standardised fast charging EV infrastructure to integrate with customer value
propositions and created novel experience in EV charging industry with high charger uptime and reliability.
• Evolved and formed strong relationships with EVSE OEM’s (ABB, Alpitronics, Starcharge, Tritium, Statiq, Exicom, Delta,
Phihong, BTC etc), grid connections and suppliers, contractors, and project management companies to foster safer,
quicker, and innovative methods of deploying the EV roll out strategy.
• Actively engaged and developed the MSP (Mobility Service Provider) - Customer facing portal (B2B and B2C) and CMS
(Charging Management System) - Backend Portal (for B2B, Engineering, Facilities etc) platform through tendering & Eprocurement process. Successfully tested, deployed simultaneous and dynamic charging capabilities in EV chargers.
• Key technical and deployment member in the acquisition of an EVC, Charger Software player (STATIQ) to strengthen
our market presence and enabled penetration into various geographies through inorganic route.
• Led 2 start-ups from scratch to commercialisation in new energies team which also led to proliferation of product
deployment in Indian market to solve issues faced in Mobility Engineering Team in the space of IoT, Artificial
Intelligence and Novel Battery Technologies. Subsequently, these startups went ahead to have Global Presence.
• Led the design team and standardised electric grid infrastructure, compact substation and HT/LT switchboards so as to
cut down deployment timelines, reduce dependency on electrical vendors - A plug and play approach model.
• Handled the Budget of EV Program with $8.72Mn in 2022 and ramped up the forecast to outlay of $62.7 Mn for 2023
with forecasts of $84Mn in 2024.
• Embarked upon a new CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System) and its development from scratch with
IT Teams and Vendors to integrate various aspects of automation and digitalisation journey in Shell.
• Developed and deployed various modular constructions in fuel stations like Modular Building (standardised to various
archetypes and sizes), containerised smart electrical panels, various subsystems of fuel system and alternate
approaches for canopy, lube bays and eco-friendly construction methods in fuel stations.
• Managing 3 EPCM contracts and 1 FMC Contract and did 2 partner transitions (1 in EPCM and FMC each) seamlessly.
• Led the transition and change management program of FM Partner in India to drive operational efficiencies and cost
competitiveness in record time with budget outlay of $112Mn (Contract Value).
• Developed and deployed long term maintenance strategy for Shell India to embark turn around performance of the
business function and reduced Opex Costs/site/Year by 83% (From $44, 000 in 2017 to $7, 500 in 2021).
• Through effective contract management, innovation and formidable KPI’s, the fuelling system downtime was reduced
by 77.2% (From 33minutes/fuelling position in 2017 to 7.5 minutes in 2021).
• Improved Preventive Vs Reactive ratio from 5% Vs 95% in 2017 to 64% Vs 36% in 2020 - A sweet spot for the market.
• Rolled out Asset Life Cycle Management, Asset Integrity, Reactive, Pro Active and Predictive strategies - Mobile App’s.
• Led the team of 14 Members directly in Shell, 32 No’s in EPC Organisation and 154 Sub-contractors in the Network.
